Dragon Age II

08 mars 2011 26½ Hoursh

The Escapist 100/100

« The advancements in RPG mechanics would be enough to set it apart, but the real achievement of Dragon Age II is in the story-telling. I could point out the improved combat and graphics till there's blood covering my face, but BioWare is one of the few companies that uses the advanced computing power available to modern game designers to let you actually play a role. »

MS Xbox World 95/100

« Dragon Age 2 takes everything that made the original so outstanding, and improves upon it effectively, offering another compelling, extensive, epic experience that will win you over with its rich character and tremendous attention to detail. »

Xbox Achievements 94/100

« Manages to be the same great epic as its forebear in terms of sheer scale and ambition, while packing in superior visuals, improved gameplay and a stronger grasp on its own unique identity. »

GameTrailers 92/100

« Though it doesn't hold a candle to its predecessor when it comes to sheer breadth, Dragon Age II has quite a bit more soul. »

3DJuegos 91/100

« It may be difficult for hardcore gamers to ignore the revamped combat system, but once you calm down and excuse some minor flaws, you'll find an amazing game in Dragon Age II. »

Vandal 91/100

« An excellent role-playing game, and a logical and direct evolution of the previous game, more action-focused and more polished, although its action focus won't please everyone. »

Official Xbox Magazine 90/100

« Next to its predecessor, Dragon Age II may be a slightly altered beast, but the minute Isabela slyly chirps "I like big boats, I cannot lie" to a Desire Demon in the murky Fade, you'll realize this game offers some of the deepest, nerdiest, most worthwhile 40 to 60 hours you'll ever love losing sleep over. [April 2011, p.70] »

Games Master UK 90/100

« BioWare have comprehensively hit back at detractors of the original game and Dragon Age II delivers a distinctive fantasy RPG with far broader appeal and personality than before. Mega-nerds may feel slighted that they can't dig into the mechanics quite so easily but few would argue that this slicker, more streamlined approach isn't a vast improvement. [Apr 2011, p.73] »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

Gaara2706 6/10

« It's an Overall OK Game, but its obvious they weren't given enough time, reused dungeon layouts, unfinished Dialoge, etc. »

Urgentboner 4/10

« I used to hate this one the most until veilguard came out. Both origin and inquisition are 9/10 for me. I'm beginning to think every other dragon age game is cursed to be crap. I remember I was so disappointed when I realized the whole game's just gonna take place in a city. I hated it! Not having different environment like the first games just made it so boring. The game is also much shorter than both origin and inquisition. They should've made veilguard this short too, maybe then I'd have finished it. Just kiding... I'd die of cringe. »

« Recycled content overload. Every house you enter looks the same. Enemies were the same. The characters were at least okay, better than some other RPGs. »

Maxx14OG 10/10

« Dragon Age II is super dope man. While the first game is a master piece, and I would probably say is better, 2 does some things better. I know a lot of people prefer the combat of the first game, but I think I am partial to the more action feeling that 2 provides. The story is great and really expands on the world that the first game revealed to us. While the scope of the 2nd game feels smaller, that is not always a bad thing. We really get a lot of time to get to know the city of Kirkwall and feel the emotional weight behind the story »

nefrane 6/10

« An interesting story but the short development cycle showed. The reused repetitive maps were the biggest issue. You did not see the timejumps reflected in the world. »

Argonaut1993 6/10

« No where near as good as the first. With the change of gameplay and combat I felt it left a lot to be desired but the story was at least solid. »

SuperN0VA 4/10

« it had great potential, wasted by rushing the devs and giving players an obviously unfinished, repetitive game »

Violentken 0/10

« C'est nul! Ultra facile! On croirait un gameplay de god of war mais pour débiles profonds... »
