The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

« One of the best Zeldas of all time. No question, just buy it. »
« Without a doubt, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is currently the greatest game you can experience on the 3DS. »
« Along with some of the best music I've ever heard in a game, its intelligent dungeon design, incredible use of 3D and the merge mechanic - which will constantly trick and challenge your mind - and the numerous nods to the entire series meant I thought my heart would burst from my chest in joy. This deserves its place among the great Zelda games of yesteryear. »
« Painting over any cracks that were starting to appear in the Zelda series, A Link Between Worlds is a refreshing experience and another Nintendo 3DS masterpiece. »
« A Link Between Worlds recognizes that it’s not tacked-on stealth segments or waggling a controller to roll bombs that makes Zelda tick—it’s the unbounded exploration and freedom found in the NES original, and it’s finally back in full force here. Every Zelda fan needs to play this game. »
« A perfect handheld Zelda experience, offering the classic gameplay you cherish at a snappier pace. Link's new 2D ability, combined with the nonlinear progression, provide a flexibility that makes exploring the land – both Hy and Lo – exciting all over again. »
« It rewards those of us who know A Link to the Past’s version of Hyrule like the back of our hand, but makes enough concessions for those who didn’t play the original the first time around. »
« This isn’t just a tribute; as amazing as A Link to the Past is, I can’t think of a single thing A Link Between Worlds doesn’t do better...In every way, A Link Between Worlds is exactly what you want out of a Zelda game. »
« The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (9.3/10) cleverly reimagines a classic formula with fresh mechanics and freedom. The wall-merging ability transforms exploration and puzzle-solving, making Hyrule feel dynamic and inventive. Nonlinear dungeon progression adds flexibility, while combat stays fast and engaging. Its charming visuals, music, and pacing create a smooth, rewarding adventure that modernizes 2D Zelda in a smart, memorable way. »
« Old school Zelda perfection. Fun puzzles, collectibles and exploration. Satisfying combat and equipment. »
« My introduction to, and to this day my favorite of the top-down Zelda games. (I can't say 2d in this games case due to the wall merge) I've played through multiple times, beat on hero mode, and 100%ed it all. I have always kept a trophy save file for 100% completion in hero mode, but I reset a save every now and then to replay it or do a silly personal challenge file. (though it's not easy to do anymore, the streetpass battles were really neat too, and I loved the Gramps easter egg after all the medals) Decent story, fun puzzles/dungeons, great game. »
« A personal 10/10 experience. I play it once a year since I first got it bundled with a 2DS on Christmas. I have a lot of fun every timeI play it and it's just fun. »
« One of the best Zelda games. I particularly enjoyed the wall merging mechanic, which is pretty unique and interesting. The 3D effect is also very well integrated here. The gameplay is very smooth and satisfying. It's fun to explore the world. I even collected everything 100% (the Maiamais), which I don't do in every game - but here it was simply fun. It’s also not too short and not too long. The only thing that could habe been improved is the difficulty level. It could be a little more difficult and the dungeons more complex. But apart from that, it's a very good Zelda game. A 9 out of 10 because of these minor flaws. »
« This is by far THE BEST handheld Zelda (if you don't count the Switch) ever, sure Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora's Mask 3D exists but they are both originally from the Nintendo 64. Well done Nintendo. »
« just enough new additions to the A Link to the Past formula to make it really exciting. Fun exploration and puzzling dungeons that make use of the 3D screen of the console. A friendly world but with cool psychedelic spook effects. »
