04 avril 2014

Hooked Gamers 90/100

« If you wanted TESO to be a Skyrim sequel, you're going to be disappointed. If you wanted it to be another World of Warcraft clone, then stick to Lord of the Rings Online. If you are looking for something fresh in a familiar setting then you are in for a feast. »

GamesBeat 90/100

« Enough defining design elements of the Elder Scrolls single-player RPGs have been successfully grafted onto the traditional MMO template to make The Elder Scrolls Online feel like what an Elder Scrolls massively multiplayer online game ought to be. »

Cheat Code Central 90/100

« A few bugs and balance issues aside, it genuinely feels like its single-player predecessors rather than a cookie cutter MMO, and that in itself is enough to draw back in the weary crowd yearning for something fresh from the genre. »

Meristation 87/100

« A perfectly executed game that manages to merge some of the best aspects of TES and MMOs, resulting in a very remarkable game. Great progression, tons of options, fun combat, insane amount of content and a very promising PVP are some of its virtues. »

Impulsegamer 86/100

« The Elder Scrolls Online carries on the tradition of gaming we know and love with a twist of adding in MMO. »

Digital Chumps 86/100

« When I look at The Elder Scrolls Online I don’t see an MMO that is finished. I see an MMO that has a solid foundation built for it with a vibrant, adventurous future ahead of it. The notion of expansion into the worlds we love and know from the non-MMO games is an exciting one. ESO brings together a solid amount of single-player experience that we know and love from previous Elder Scrolls titles and mixes it in with intriguing and grounded MMO elements. That mixture sometimes doesn’t work, but there’s plenty of room for adjustment. »

XGN 85/100

« The Elder Scrolls Online is a suprisingly fresh take on the MMORPG-genre, but when you are searching for a cooperative version of Skyrim, you came to the wrong place. If you are searching for a new MMO, however, you should really consider trying this one out. The level system removes the grinding and the first person perspective gives you a fresh take on the genre. »

GameStar 84/100

« Despite its problems ESO is a game that's fun for more than 100 hours and if Zenimax listens to the players, it can even become a great game. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

Enzuk 10/10

« The game is great, and customer service responds quickly and resolves issues in no time. I made a purchase by mistake and got a refund in less than 24 hours; it’s refreshing to have human customer support rather than the bots you get in WoW. As for the game itself, the combat is its weakest point, but that’s made up for by the vast world, the lore, and the great community. »

CyBog 0/10

tentongeek 8/10

« Another MMO RPG for Elder Scrolls?! HELL YEAH! Fantasy, adventure, and friends (or people to at least play with) . . . I'm in! »

Nadien86 4/10

« My gear seems to down grade as I level! Why? The level scaling is ridiculous. Each time you replace a piece of gear that gear will just downgrade as you level making you weaker. The **** is backwards, you supposed to feel stronger as you level not weaker. Combat is kinda borning you just hit the same button over and over, I dunno the game just isn't fun and there's no fantasy to it and I just feel alone. Wish there was no level scaling, I cant stand level scaling it eliminates any type of progression feeling and progression is what keeps me playing. »

Junanelle 0/10

« The community in this game is a disgusting pile of trash. Incredibly toxic. And the devs do not do anything about it. So they are supporting the most toxic community in video game history. The average player ive come across sits in the corner and drools on their math test and writes on in "2+2=72925". With this little iq in players even simple boss mechanics are unplayable. Dont touch this piece of toxic trash! »

« Absolute garbage !!! Save ur money, don't waste your time. Subscription is needed if u want to play endgame. »

AuraFail 9/10

« Pros: If your biggest complaint with the series was "I CANT **** EXPLORE THE REST IF TAMRIEL???" your prayers have been answered. Cons: Enemies and bosses can be tedious, kinda pointless to play any other class besides templar, overuse of "one hit kill" mechanics, base game can be underwhelming. »

zelaxi 7/10

« After spending over 150 hours with just the base game, Elder Scrolls Online impressed me as a surprisingly solid single-player Elder Scrolls experience wrapped in MMO form. The world is vast and alive, with richly detailed cities, tons of NPCs, and a great sense of exploration that captures the heart of the series. The Aldmeri Dominion storyline offered a compelling arc, and I appreciated the freedom to wander and uncover quests naturally. However, ESO struggles with alt-friendliness—core progression like skyshards and skills are locked to individual characters unless you pay real money, which adds up quickly. Combat feels floaty and lacks the satisfying feedback of mainline entries, and dungeon content often feels empty due to minimal challenge and zero player interaction. Still, with a fair subscription model (ESO+) and years of content to explore, ESO is a strong recommendation for Elder Scrolls fans looking for a chill, low-commitment return to Tamriel—just don’t expect tight MMO mechanics or alt-friendly design. »
