Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

Time 100/100

« It's a fan service fractal that works both as a gonzo strategy masterpiece and series love letter. It's a studio-publisher (Ubisoft) that's been around nearly as long as Nintendo's been making video games, reflecting all the whimsy and allure of a franchise that's sold half a billion copies worldwide. I blaspheme, but if you've ever wondered what an archetypal Nintendo game made not-by-Nintendo would look like, here you go. »

Telegraph 100/100

« And this is the thing, they may have needed a bit of Mario magic to rub off on them but this is the perfect stage for the previously maligned Rabbids. From Rabbid Peach’s casual leaning against cover and obsession with taking selfies as bosses fall, to a slobbering rampaging Donkey Kong boss, to Rabbid Yoshi’s curiously adorable dinosaur costume they manage to steal the show from their inspirations. Another pleasant surprise in a game full of unlikely triumphs. »

LEVEL (Czech Republic) 100/100

« An unconventional combination of two worlds and genres, which is funny, reasonably difficult and especially offers a great playability. For the Nintendo Switch owners, it is a must-have, everyone will enjoy this game. [Issue#278] »

AusGamers 98/100

« My only gripe is that the game could have done with a world-map (there’s kind of a ‘map’ to help you track your battles and how you went in them, but it looks more like a McDonald’s kids place-mat and isn’t at all helpful). Otherwise this is near-perfect gaming experience. Wonderfully paced, beautifully presented, hilariously nostalgic and reverent, portable, ever-challenging and charming to a fault. If The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wasn’t enough to push your switch to Nintendo Switch, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle definitely should force your wallet. »

Game Over Online 95/100

« A must-own for any Switch owner and is worth buying the console for on its own. It combines two franchises together wonderfully and gives Mario fans seeking another console-centric RPG-style game more thrills. Everything about the concept gels together surprisingly well, with the only weakness in the whole package being the story. »

ZTGD 95/100

« When Mario + Rabbids was announced, I was excited, if a little nervous. Nintendo farming out Mario to Ubisoft, a developer that hasn’t always hit the mark, was slightly concerning. But after playing this game I can honestly say that aside from the odd camera bug or two, I would have never of guessed that this game was not made by Nintendo themselves. It looks, sounds and feels like a Mario game. Clearly the developers have a great love of Mario and an even greater understanding as to what makes a Mario game special. All of the nods to the Mario universe, how many staples of said universe feature in how the gameplay works with this unique title and the attention to every little detail makes this not only a fresh take on a classic character, but possibly my favorite Mario game ever. »

Cheat Code Central 92/100

« The level of quality and depth here is absolutely extraordinary. »

Nintendojo 91/100

« Considering how disparate all the elements found in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle appear on the surface, everything comes together astonishingly well when experienced as a whole. »

« It was my first turn-based strategy game. It has no flaws, and in fact, combining Mario with the Rabbids was a brilliant idea. »

Kai67 10/10

« Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a surprisingly deep, charming, and viciously challenging tactical game that acts as one of the finest "my first tactics game" experiences on the Nintendo Switch. Despite a pre-release image that suggested a chaotic, oddball mess, Ubisoft Milan created a polished masterpiece that masterfully blends the charm of the Mushroom Kingdom with the obnoxious antics of the Rabbids, offering a "smart, chuckle-inducing" turn-based **** visuals are superb, bringing a bright, vibrant, and incredibly detailed world that shines on the Nintendo Switch, both docked and handheld. The game is surprisingly difficult, demanding players strategically use their abilities to combat "visciously tough" enemies in later worlds, often requiring trial-and-error to unlock the best strategies. The Rabbids-infused characters, such as Rabbid Peach, steal the show with their humor, providing a fresh perspective on a familiar world. »

Makusan 9/10

« This game was actually super fun and interesting (maybe it's because I'm a big fan of Rabbids, CRPGs, and other "lite" strategy games)! It even reminded me of playing Rayman + Rabbids back in 2006, good times. P.S. another good thing about that game is the different co-op modes. »

Push-mo 7/10

« Прикольная икс ком подобная игра. Визуал очень хороший, персонажи запоминающиеся, локации приятные. Геймплей затянут как и во многих таких играх, под конец уже не пытаешься пройти все идеально, главное, лишь бы уже закончить эту историю. Поэтому и такая оценка. »

« Super fun game with 4 different themed world an awesome turn based combat, requires logic, also not too hard...bosses and mud bosses really cool but not the exhausting type like Raven Beak for example. It's a must play, it improves logic and tactics also. The characters alongside Mario are very original and cool »

« The first game I ever played on the Switch. This is one of the best titles to if you want to get into turn based strategy games. It has fun for all ages, although don't expect some grand narrative. It's very much a Mario game, with a Rabbid coat of paint. The difficulty increases slowly as you progress through the game and it never feels unfair. Overall this is a safe pick if you own a Switch, I haven't played the sequel but it should be similar as well. »

« My favorite game to date . The turn based style super fun . And the new love of my life Rabbids Edge . Super home run . Relaxingto play »

BlueS23 7/10

« Repetitive gameplay and enemies, a really sloppy system for upgrading and unlocking new weapons that are basically the same, just with more damage. At first glance, it looks like there are a decent number of playable characters, but unfortunately, the variety of their abilities is also quite modest. After completing each world, a new game mode with challenges for that world will open up. It's not very clear to me when the player should complete these challenges, because their difficulty depends more on how much the player's characters have been leveled up. When I tried the first challenge from the first world with the first characters available immediately after these challenges became available. Even though it was supposed to be an "easy" challenge, it was almost impossible to complete. However, when I returned to these challenges after completing the entire main story, the challenges became completely trivial and boring. Not to mention the story, which is basically non-existent. The puzzles filling the space between battles may be annoying to some, I didn't enjoy them much, but they didn't bother me either. What I liked was the combat system, which is very simple and uncomplicated, yet offers many tactical options. This motivates players to get the most out of every action. I liked that you can shoot and move in any order, which is not standard in this game genre. It allows for even more tactical variations. The graphics and overall environment of the game also seemed quite successful. »
