Devil May Cry 5
Devil May Cry 5
La presse a salué l'expérience, Destructoid évoquant « the sort of fine-tuned wacky action game the genre deserves » et God is a Geek qualifiant le combat de « stunning » au point que « combat this good should be illegal ». Certains joueurs, toutefois, ont regretté une prise en main initiale difficile face à la quantité de combos à mémoriser ou une esquive jugée décevante hors du personnage de Dante.

« This is the sort of fine-tuned wacky action game the genre deserves. »
« Devil May Cry 5 is a stunning hack and slash game and never fails to amaze. Combat this good should be illegal. »
« The wait between Devil May Cry 4 and Devil May Cry 5 might have been long, but the payoff is more than worth it. It doesn't deviate from the series' formula, but instead refines it to a polished sheen; one that's packed with an absurd amount of style and spirit. This is a must-play action game for fans of the series and the genre alike. »
« From its superb visual presentation to its wildly successful combat system, Devil May Cry 5 is the perfect action game. The developers put all their energy into providing a constant string of exciting, over-the-top battles that push players to the limit and test their abilities to pull off the most stylish combos possible, and the result is a game that keeps a breakneck pace and never slows down. There isn’t a single dull moment in Devil May Cry 5, and it’s arguably the best game in the series to date. »
« This is the best Devil May Cry yet. Each character has enough depth to fill a game by themselves, the story does exactly what it needs to, the twists and turns keep you on edge and the combat sets a new benchmark for action games as a whole. Capcom has made a masterclass in stylish combat gaming here, and there’s enough content to keep players happy — even if it takes another 11 years for a sequel. »
« Devil May Cry 5 gracefully inherits the very best narrative aspects from Devil May Cry 3 and even surpasses it in some regards. It features some of the best music and characters in the whole series, along with a multitude of new weapons and abilities, and it sets a new bar of quality and content for upcoming entries, which, I hope, will act as a template for what we can expect from the series in the future. »
« The onslaught of things to shoot, crush or skewer demons with is always exhilarating, and done ample. justice by Capcom’s RE Engine »
« The question of which Devil May Cry game is the best has gotten much easier with Devil May Cry 5. The combat is the strongest the series has seen to date, the story does a great job of balancing all three of its main characters and doling out rewarding bits of its mysterious story at an enticing pace, and the unlockable difficulties, sheer number of techniques to earn, and the upcoming free Bloody Palace DLC will provide a ton of incentive for replayability. It’s good to have you back, Dante and Nero. »

« Devil May Cry 5 is hands down one of the best action games of all time , It's beautiful, flashy, satisfying as the right difficulty and skill ceiling and overall is just an experience that doesn't try to overwhelm you but rather take you on a ride of a rockstar, The characters are one of the best in any game, and RE Engine delivers crisp visuals, high frame rates regardless of the platform and is just well optimized which promises that this great game will also feel great to play without any AAA frustrations some games can have. If you can get DMC 5 Special Edition That's what I'll get »
« At first the game was overwhelming with so many atacks and combos to memorize, in a way that the game was not fun to play. Once I realized that you those atacks and combos are not that necessary to beat the enemies the game becomes a bit more fun.I liked both dante's and V's gameplay, but nero just felt like a cheap and weak copy of **** story only becomes interesting in the very end of the game.I felt like the game was made to be played as a arcade game where you play the same missions over and over again trying new weapons and combos to try to reach the highest score possible. If you are like me who just wants to finish a game and move on to the next this game is not that great.Overal I didn't think the game was nearly as good as people praise it. »
« El pináculo de la saga DMC y posiblemente del genero de Hack n Slash en si. No es un 10 simplemente porque no deja de ser un juego de lucha y armar combos, sin mecanicas complejas, locuras de programacion o jugabilidad variada, pero dentro de lo que intenta, hace todo de maravilla. El primer DMC con buena escritura y una narrativa que se convierte en la mejor de la saga. »
« --- [89/100] --- Devil May Cry 5 is the perfected entry in the series, at least as of today. It improves upon many of the franchise's already strong suits while addressing several of its past issues. Let's start with the gameplay: the combat system has been refined to perfection and is hands down one of the best I've ever experienced overall, not just within the series. It wraps up many plot threads left unanswered in previous chapters, while leaving (and setting up) others, the right ones, for a potential sixth episode. The character design sees further improvements, and this time it isn't just relegated to the main protagonist, but extends to a large part of the core cast. The animations are exceptional and far more prevalent than in past games. The tutorials and User Experience have been upgraded once again: you can now test weapon upgrades before confirming their purchase. Furthermore, despite the inclusion of new features, enhanced graphics, and the constant barrage of animations, the game still feels more polished and optimized than its predecessors (although a lot of this is because of the natural technological progress of recent years). There's no need to even discuss the audio department, it's excellent as always. It's a shame that the usual issues remain (post-game, side content, and gameplay variety). That being said, this entry is by far the one I've enjoyed the most in the entire series and I am waiting, just like pretty much all the fans, for some updates on the rumored sequel currently in development. »
« good game but definitely overrated. the combat is fun but the enemy diversity is so repetitive. playing as V is lame and boring and made me quit the game. boss fights and music is great and cutscenes and leveling system is good. level design is boring. »
« Being forced to play with Nero breaks the flow of DMC games. Buying Devil Breakers repeatedly and with limited use from my experience was horrible. Playing with Dante on the other hand gives so much freedom and utility with trickster style especially. Nero didn't work in my opinion and won't play with him again in the upcoming series if Capcom decides to do so. »
« I guess the best compliment I can give DMC 5 is that its foundation is rooted in an “outdated” PS2 game, meaning: there are no excessive cutscenes, no obnoxious forced walking sections, no pedantic tutorials despite its deep learning curve, no condescending storytelling, and no other modern gaming shenanigans and gimmicks; just pure, nonstop action fun. The one and only complain I have about it is V as a playable character who felt royally unsatisfying in gameplay, though it still served as a nice change of pace and a well needed break from Nero’s and Dante’s high-octane, up close and personal gameplays, I suppose. All things considered, this was the most enjoyment I’ve gotten out of an 8th gen game in a long time. »
