The Benza RPG, un jeu de rôle rétro disponible depuis le 1er octobre 2020 sur PC, Android, iOS et Mac, prolonge la série comique japonaise The Benza dans une aventure où Inko Sensei a enlevé Lee et enfermé le casting d'une série télévisée à l'intérieur d'un RPG. Les joueurs incarnent Chris et Kyle pour traverser trente étages d'une école japonaise, explorer un cirque mystérieux et affronter une arène, afin d'arrêter Inko Sensei et de sauver Higashi Nakano. Développé avec RPG Maker MV et mêlant aventure et RPG, le titre propose dix personnages jouables, plus de 250 répliques enregistrées par le casting, vingt-huit chansons originales et un système de combat affichant un compteur de tours à l'écran permettant de changer de personnage à la volée. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont salué l'expérience en déclarant notamment « 楽しい！日本語版のリリースも楽しみにしています！ Amazonプライムでずっと観ていたので楽しいです。 » et « とても楽しくてキャラクターの個性が魅力的で惹きこまれました！Amazonプライムで短編映画も観たいと思います！ », soulignant le plaisir pris au jeu et l'attrait de la personnalité des personnages.

« Seemed like a cute addition to the TV series, so I gave it a whirl. It was well made and you could tell there was love put into all the steps. the FMVs, the character dialogue, and the music were all lovely! And best of all it didn't have any microtransactions... just a nice free RPG to play! »

I had the opportunity to play the beta test for android, and loved it far more than I was ever prepared to - to the point where I ended up putting most of my responsibilities on the back burner in order to spend my Sunday immersed in this game and these fun characters. The game is totally free, yet it has a level of quality you'd expect you'd need to pay for. So it's clearly a work of passion on the creators' part, and that passion pays off. Frankly, it's a blast - and a well-designed, well-balanced blast at that. Strongly recommended. »
