Tanzia
Tanzia

« An immense open world in 3D, full of magic, monsters, a magnificent BSO, a complex battle system and a perfectly adapted control in Nintendo Switch make Tanzia a must-have title in our catalogue if we are looking for something different to invest our time in. »
« In looking at Tanzia as a whole, there’s no question that this game is a labor of love for the two principal developers, a fact most evident during the closing credits. It’s also a game that left this reviewer wishing there was more: more spells, more potions, more places to explore, and more plotline, both in terms of the characters already introduced and the wider world of the game. The endgame does hint that there may be more to come, but for now this appears to be it. Still, what is there now is a lot of fun, and if you’re looking for 10 or so hours of RPG goodness you could do a lot worse. Worth a look. »
« Tanzia's disparate parts are held together with the chewed gum of love put into the project which manages to do just enough to keep it all from falling apart. »
« Tanzia is a fine game for people looking for a light action-RPG that engages the player with its simplicity. The story beats are interesting but the combat, music, and quest design are largely uninspired. In so many words, Tanzia could use a little more time in the alchemy cauldron. »
« There’s a lot to like about Tanzia. It’s an indie game that’s set its ambitions high, boasting DNA from action-RPGs, 3D platformers and more. It’s very much a throwback to a time when those genres were very different beasts, but it's a love letter riddled with many of the problems modern iterations have shed. However, if you can look past the fact it often looks and plays like an HD remaster, you’ll find some creative monster designs and a fantastical world bursting with heartfelt charm. »
« It's pretty in a generic manner, and has enough content that it will satisfy people that don't much care for creativity. But there is a point where a homage becomes a flat-out copy, and sadly, Tanzia simply doesn't seem to care that it's so brazen in its "influences." »

« Arcanity Inc has created a world so immersive I don't ever want to leave. Tanzia is beautiful, the story is interesting, and it's just overall a very great adventure. The combat is a lot of fun, with balancing the use of potions and magic (or rather "Alchemy" and "Arcanity"). It's not too difficult **** but it doesn't hold your hand either as you often have to find your own solutions to challenges. There's a lot of classic RPG elements so if you like 3D RPGs you'll enjoy Tanzia. I've been recommending it to everybody lol. The music is really good too. »
« Tanzia is what you get when you have a couple of guys who are passionate about bringing their vision to life. A world full of adventure and magic awaits you in Tanzia. You play a shaman who is on a mission to learn about his missing grandfather. The story isnt anything over the top amazing, but it is fun to play through. Along the way you will learn basics spells like fireball but quickly move onto more advanced magic such as ice comet. While the spell system is great, the melee combat leaves much to be desired. I hear the melee is being revamped though for a future update, so we will see what comes of that. As someone who doesn't normally buy / play indie games I have to recommend this one. »
« I am a huge RPG fan from the beginning of the ages. Played Tibia, Mu Online, Ultima Online, World of Warcraft and many others really old RPG games back in the day. Today I don't have enough time to sit in front of a computer or a video game and play for hours to get stronger. Because of the Switch, I finally have enough time to play RPG games, and I am really glad this game is on the system. Of course, it has some problems, there are some animation bugs, and exploits you can do on the map. But that in no way makes the game lose its charm. It is an indie game with a lot of effort put into it, and you can see how much the developers care for it, and are always addressing the bugs and correcting it. If you really miss the old style RPG and don't have the time to play them anymore, this game will give you the nostalgia it gave me. I have many hours on it already and will keep playing for a long time. We need more games like this to play on the Switch. Hope everyone will give it a chance. »
« Tanzia is an Action-RPG adventure that reminds me of the good old days of the genre. The game has very colorful, 3D environments to explore and there is a lot you can do from main quests, to side quests as well as crafting. Basically everything you need in an RPG. It is a lot of fun. a good pace to keep your attention, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique indie game to play »
« I sometimes base my game buying purchases on user reviews. Imagine my surprise when I see this at the top of the user charts, go and buy it, then find myself playing a game devoid of character or discernible polish. This game was a let down, I created an account just so I could attempt to regulate the ratings for this game. I honestly think it should be a 3, but in order to counter the 9.1 I saw earlier I had to rate it a zero. »
« Tanzia est un Action RPG indépendant offrant des possibilités de combinaison de sorts divers afin de pouvoir battre de nombreux ennemis. Il y a pas mal d'explorations, de quêtes et de choses à faire. Simple mais complet en plus il est pas cher, cela permet d'avoir une expérience Zelda-like fun. »
« I've been looking for a WoW'esque (other than multiplayer) gameplay since the launch of the Switch. Beautiful visuals and easy to grasp controls made this a joy to play. Controls much like WoW or for me I referenced the hot bar in DC Universe Online. Learning new spells and recipe's for potions as you progress and level up. The story had just enough meat to keep me wanting more with the main quest line with bits of comedy sprinkled in from several NCP's in the game. To conclude I love what Tanzia brings to the Switch its worth every bit of $20 and I hope to spend more money on future DLC. »
« This game is a fun RPG with a quirky, touching story and well-balanced difficulty. It's accessible to a casual gamer, but difficult enough to present a challenge as well. Having played the game in it's initial stages as a PC/Steam game, I was delighted to find that it was being released on Switch because it's a perfect match for platform. The story was surprisingly complex, following one family's story over several generations. As the protagonist, you must discover your family's secret, master the forgotten art of Arcanity, and save your family and your tribe. Good luck! »
