GameStar 79/100

« Exactly the stuff that the horror genre desperately needs: gripping from beginning to end, with fresh enemy types and a varied gameplay. »

Multiplayer.it 75/100

« Quotation forthcoming. »

TheSixthAxis 70/100

« Apsulov: End of Gods is a worthy counterpart to other great Norse games of recent years. With only a small development team, it can't match the presentation of some of the games that inspired it, but it makes up for this with a distinctive character. Taking the ideas of Doom 3 and Dead Space and mixing them up with Norse mythology, this is a really interesting and enjoyable horror experience. »

GameOver.gr 65/100

« Apsulov is a by-the-numbers walking simulator with pretty, mildly interactive environments, the annoyance of stealth sections and a 4-5 hours story. Be that as it may, we can’t deny that we've had a pleasant visit in the amalgamation of sci-fi laboratories with artifacts and environments inspired by Norse mythology. »

DarkStation 60/100

« As a design doc, a game that combines horror, sci-fi and Norse mythology sounds intriguing but in actually, Apsulov just seems uncertain of its identity. With too much clunky action for a narrative driven walking simulator, and not enough combat to excel as an action game, it’s a lot of bits and pieces that don’t quite connect. The game has some ideas floating around but they’re too often drowned in a sea of over-used cliches, tired gaming tropes and creative cul de sacs that lead nowhere in particular. »

SilverOrlov 7/10

« Well, it's almost a great game. I really liked the idea of mixing Norse mythology with a Lovecraftian atmosphere. The game is relatively short, about five hours of game-play. The controls are simple, with a few specific mechanics, like scanning the environment and a mech-magic hand artifact. Everything would be great, if not for one "but" ... the game is terribly dark. Yeah, yeah, it's a horror game I know, but it's still incredibly dark. I used the scanner more as a flashlight than as a scanner and it's a shame, because it would have been more interesting to explore the game's settings and surroundings. Overall, I can recommend it, but only with a discount. »

« Ortalama altı bir yapım bence. Türü sevenler belki daha yüksek puan verirler ama benim için bu kadar. »

« Its old now when i play it but it has aged SO WELL! If you are into horror like me and a nerd regarding viking mythology and are all about Voluspa, this is the game for you 100% »

KolesAdlerov 8/10

« Pleasant aesthetics, top-notch tension, reasonable interactions and the legs(full body)! Cool savegame-animation, nice respawn-mechanics, even the cheat-vision is beautifully designed here. Great work! Gameplay: combat mechanics 4/10 stealth 6/10 atmosphere 8/10 Gameplay as immersive horror 8/10 Story 7/10 Graphics 8/10 Sounds & music [nothing outstanding, but it's in place] 8/10 . It must be "7", because 8/10_games is another league, but let it be "8/10". Must play! »

vgi99 8/10

« Overall, not bad. The plot is interesting, the soundtrack is pleasant. The graphics are at the level for such a project. Although the character animation is, of course, primitive. Depressing is the lack of a variety of enemies, the monotony of locations and their small number. »

AstiX 8/10

« GOOD A short and enjoyable experience with a pretty intriguing storyline and some interesting gameplay mechanics. It's easy to like this game right from the very start. You wake up to a robot machine modifying your body and keeping you trapped in a dark room while you don't even remember where or who you are. The mystery immediately grabs your attention and slowly leads you to even more questions and eventually revelations throughout the game. It's nothing overly complex or genial, but it manages to keep things exciting. The gameplay mechanics are simple, but feel quite original in their own right and make traversing through the levels quite fun. It's not a scary game (although there are a few jumpscares), but it manages to create a pretty great atmosphere with a few creepy and awe-inspiring moments. MEH The voice acting is... not very good. Except for the main villain which does a pretty good job. BAD The antialiasing options are horrible. It's probably TAA and you either play on low with jaggies and distracting shimmering all over the place or set it on high and get a blurry screen. There doesn't seem to be an option to turn it off. »

« Truly an impressive game from start to finish. The concept of the future and Norse Mythology was a welcomed change to what I'm sure many would compare to God of War. Sound and music were stellar to create an atmosphere that was scary and chilling. Graphics were also impressive for an indie title. Overall was a great experience. »

DevAMoron 10/10

« This game is great. Great story, looks great. Also an original concept. The characters are interesting, there are also some very suspenseful scenes, highly recommend it. Don't listen to RigerWortis! »
