Avis des critiques et joueurs

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

Next Level Gaming 84/100

« Something different and new, something that actually makes a spy game a true spy game. »

XGP Gaming 82/100

« Imitation is the finest form of flattery, and Sammy Studios has gracefully given a nod to the previous masters and has moved on in its own direction. »

PGNx Media 80/100

« The coolest gadget is the 3DA camera which allows you to take a picture of someone and then emulate them perfectly. »

GameZone 77/100

« You will find comfort in using the mute button. »

Worth Playing 75/100

« Its crazy camera makes running and gunning difficult, and being stealthy is too much work and takes too much time. Had the game stuck with its unique, brainy moments, it would have been a much better experience. »

Game Informer 75/100

« Despite its flaws, Spy Fiction does deliver enough "wow moments" and inventive set pieces to make up for the too-frequent bouts of tedium or spotty AI. [Oct 2004, p.132] »

Play Magazine 75/100

« Spy Fiction is meant to be fun rather than realistic, but there's a line between playful and head-scratchingly ridiculous. Oh well, at least the flashback aspect of the story works. [Sept 2004, p.64] »

IGN 73/100

« With a clunky camera and a slightly awkward weapon system the battles consist of throwing grenades and hoping to clear the area as fast as possible. In reality, the game goes much smoother when it deals with one enemy at a time or really just solving all of the puzzles. »

« Maybe I'm a little bias but I genuinely did enjoy this game. It was one of my favorite game to play growing up and while it's not like the most mind blowing spy games out there but personally, I did enjoy it. The missions were fun. I like how different each of the missions' environments are. I enjoy the stealth. And I thought the overall storyline and the twist was pretty solid. Overall, not bad but also not a masterpiece. Still, I'd say this is a pretty underrated long forgotten PS2 game. »

« This is one of that games that makes me ignore all of it's (many) technical flaws. I see that this game is not a simple generic MGS lookalike: it is actually a tribute to espionage game fans, like me, who had a lot of fun playing it several times. To be able to disguise yourself as any NPC, get literally invisible with some tech camo, get up on the walls with a spider grip... This game is a spy experience! A very good one. Unfortunately it has poor execution in terms of development, and will never have a sequel. I'll tell you what, if you asked me how much I like this game, if I was a billionaire I would hire a company to produce Spy Fiction 2. Just for me to play. But the game is so unknown that even this review of mine will probably never be read by anyone. »

« Horrible game, terrible game, it gives me a headache to play this **** Bad gameplay, horrible audio, rotten controls, stupid AI, only acceptable thing is the graphics. Why PS2 has so many garbage games? The problem is not that the game is old and without it being **** Here a list of amazing games that came out in 2003, Nfl 2004, Simpsons hit and run, Manhunt 1, midnight club 2, COD 1........ »

Hyrule34 10/10

« I loved this game, finished it a lot. I think the story was great and the gameplay was awesome. »

Alice99 10/10

« One of the best PS2 action game that i have played. Good graphic, atmosphere and very interesting story line. This is really one of my favorite PS2 game. »
