Spider-Man, jeu d'action-aventure développé par Neversoft Entertainment et Westlake Interactive, est sorti le 24 août 2000 sur PC, Mac, PlayStation, Dreamcast et Nintendo 64, sous les éditions d'Activision, Aspyr Media, Gradiente et Success. Classé dans les genres aventure et hack 'n' slash, le titre place le joueur aux commandes de Spider-Man, qui progresse à travers les niveaux en s'appuyant sur le balancement de toile, le combat et la furtivité, au sein d'un récit construit autour d'une conspiration impliquant notamment Docteur Octopus et Venom.
L'accueil critique a été contrasté, la presse saluant à l'époque la réussite du traitement du personnage de super-héros, Hot Games y voyant une réussite dépassant d'autres tentatives comme Superman N64 ou Batman Forever, tandis que l'Official U.S. Playstation Magazine le qualifiait de meilleur jeu de super-héros jamais réalisé. Du côté des joueurs, les avis restent mitigés : certains regrettent la courte durée de vie de l'expérience, quand d'autres apprécient les costumes et l'histoire tout en jugeant la gameplay moyenne. Le score agrégé du jeu s'établit à 56,08.
