Shrek Forever After est un jeu d'aventure édité par Activision et développé par XPEC et Gameloft, sorti le 18 mai 2010 en Amérique du Nord. Quatrième et dernier jeu vidéo inspiré de la série de films Shrek, il fut le dernier titre DreamWorks Animation publié sur Windows et le premier opus de la franchise sur PlayStation 3, disponible également sur Xbox 360, iOS et Wii. Basé sur le dernier long métrage des studios DreamWorks, le titre propose un mode coopératif pour quatre joueurs permettant d'incarner Shrek, Fiona, l'âne ou le chat botté, chacun disposant de capacités propres, au sein de deux mondes alternant réalité et double virtuel, mêlant énigmes et combat. Le moteur Lux Engine et la protection SecuROM 7.41 sont utilisés, pour une durée de cinq heures en histoire principale et douze heures en complétionniste. Le score Metacritic s'établit à 56 pour une note agrégée de 58,35. La presse a salué la qualité relative du titre pour un jeu de film, Game Chronicles évoquant le meilleur jeu Shrek jamais joué et GamingTrend notant qu'il peut divertir un adulte, tandis que certains joueurs sur Metacritic y voient le meilleur film Shrek sans pour autant le considérer comme exceptionnel.
