IGN Spain 70/100

« Quotation forthcoming. »

PlaySense 70/100

« A relentless flow of action with a large selection of guns available deliver a lot of fun, especially in co-op. Controls could have been a bit more intuitive and sometimes it's hard to have a clear overview of what's going on around you. Nevertheless an entertaining title. »

GameCrate 63/100

« The game is cute and looks great, but thanks to its control scheme, isn't very fun to play. »

BaziCenter 60/100

« Ninjin: Clash of Carrots tries so hard be like old time Beat 'em Up titles, and even tries to change the genre's formula by using Endless Runner mechanics, but it has failed in both, and the final result is a shallow, repetitive، boring and incomplete Beat 'em Up title. »

PlayStation Country 60/100

« Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is a superb looking game that has an initially fun gameplay loop with the mixture of bullet hell mechanics and scrolling beat-em-ups. Unfortunately, the cracks appear when you hit the midway point and realise that there are no more tricks left and all that is left is repetition and unspent potential. »

Cubed3 60/100

« Stylish presentation and quirky fun are Ninjin: Clash of Carrots's standout selling points. Retro graphics and an eccentric storyline are the heart and soul of the experience, even if the script is at times frustratingly over-the-top. Ultimately, Ninjin holds up as a mostly fun experience, but its co-op modes, amusing story, and enemy variety fail to overpower an over-simplicity that lets it down. »

Hardcore Gamer 50/100

« Despite keeping an open mind with the title, its concept is flawed in its execution and it lacks a sense of identity and purpose for its characters and story. What seemed like a title that could reinforce the reason not to judge a book by its cover proves to be the exact opposite in almost every aspect. »

« Underrated game, it is an old-school gem. While it doesn't reach masterpiece-levels in any of its elements, it manages to orchestrate them to generate something that LOOKS kiddie but it is definitely not a "kids' game" (nothing wrong with game for kids, I just picture a lot of people ticking this as one of them just by looks). S-Ranking all stages will be demanding, very demanding, and you have to know that your success will depend on both trial-and-error with your equipment customization AND the memorization of each stage. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED, particularly if you grew up in the SNES era. »

« An interesting one. This game is really not for people who are quick to get mad, those who refuse to adapt and use the same items, type of weapon, and build the entire game. There are situations that require serious multitasking and quick thinking, with the dash especially. What may seem like an invincible dash will put you into a free fall when you don't use it right. The game has 5 general music tracks, which are played differently, and a highly rated boss track, so it isn't lacking in music. The humor is satire for the most part, and the story is... not the main focus. It has a unique story, but it's not really something to play based on story. Overall, it still is worth the time in both single and multiplayer, as they are each fun in different ways. »

« Ninjin Clash of Carrots A bit too repetitive Ninjin clah of carrots is a side scrolling endless runner meets twin stick shooter meets beat up game where you play as a bunny or a fox either solo or co op both locally or online, across 4 different worlds on an around 6 hour long journey to get back the carrots for your villiage The art style and charm of this game is the first thing that stuck out to me, I just thought everything was cute and adorable despite being a ninja bunny out here slicing fools up for snatching your carrots here you have a sword and a projectile, you go across short waves of usually around 10 as enemies come at you trying to stop you, you pick up carrots, dropped treasure chests and try to make it to the end of the waves without dying.. these chests will unlock new weapons for you to equip to your character, and you can also use your carrots to buy weapons and items to increase your health for example or give you the ability to earn health back for a certain number of kills.. this loot system is what helps ninjin stay fun and intereting for a little while… but a little less than half way through, the gameplay just starts to feel stale and repetitive… it’s the same thing from start to finish, dodge attackings, get some damage in collect carrots, occasionally figh a boss rinse and repeat… the game will constantly add new enemies to add to the challenge and again you can buy new weapons that work differently and add different strategy to different levels… but this game just doesn’t do enough to pull you through.. it doesn’t get its hooks in you and im not quite sure why, its cute.. its colorful.. it has loot… but it just slowly gets boring due to the repetive nature instead of challenging and exciting, its just like okay ive done all of this before.. im done now… Ninjin in no way is a bad game.. its just… its alright nothing here that’s a must play I give Ninjin Clash of Carrots a 5.5/10 »
