The year is 2036. A quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro. They have struggled against the poisoned elements, fought mutated beasts and paranormal horrors, and suffered the flames of civil war. But now, as Artyom, you must flee the Metro and lead a band of Spartan Rangers on an incredible, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life in the East.

Metro Exodus is a first-person shooter video game developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver in 2019. The game is the third installment in the Metro video game series, which is based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels. It is a sequel to Metro: Last Light and the book Metro 2035, and follows protagonist Artyom and his allies as they flee the Moscow Metro and set off on an intercontinental journey through Russia and parts of Kazakhstan on a locomotive called Aurora. The story takes place over a year, during which Artyom visits locations such as the Volga River and the Caspian Sea. The game improves on the gameplay mechanics of Last Light; it includes both several miniature open world locations and more linear levels like earlier games in the series.

J'ai découvert Metro Exodus en 2022 et, dès les premières heures, j'ai été impressionné par la qualité de sa réalisation. Visuellement, le jeu était déjà superbe, avec des environnements magnifiques et une atmosphère qui m'a immédiatement plongé dans...
Quand on fait des jeux solo en monde ouvert avec des systeme de sauvegarde faite aux moins en sorte que ça fonctionne hein aux lieux de devoir recommancer des heure de jeux

« This game is excellent at creating a tense gameplay which constantly puts you at the edge of your seat and at the same time including some slow, heart warming moments. Rewarding you to explore the map with not just interesting gear but actually good extra content that makes the game just that much more immersive and make you care for the characters. The graphics are great even to this day and the voice over is so good, there is never a line that felt out of place and they are always delivered with the right tone. The game design never lets you leave the game in a way where there is a physical map you bring up, a backpack you put on the ground to craft stuff and game design that makes you keep your eyes peeled, this creates a level of immerse other games fail to achieve and it really sets the bar high. This game is truely great and it balances all the right elements correctly »

« When I booted up Metro Exodus I was fully expecting those same tight tunnels from the first two games. But they took a massive risk and actually made a semi open world Metro game. It was a really bold move and some people say it betrayed the core formula but I completely disagree. Playing it like this was super fun and I am seriously telling you it wasn't a mistake. Even though I still prefer those tight claustrophobic vibes the game is solid as hell like this too. You can totally see where the budget went because the graphics are just gorgeous. I know people had optimization issues at launch but it ran perfectly smooth for me with zero problems. I actually beat it somewhere else first then went and bought the whole trilogy just to replay it all over again. I honestly think it is a very special franchise for gaming. But man the biggest issue with Exodus is the year it came out. Like it dropped in 2019 and Artyom is still a silent protagonist. It was fine back in 2010 but now it just feels like a joke. NPCs come up and pour their hearts out to me and our guy just stands there staring. Speak up Artyom damn it. Having a wife in the game is actually a great touch and it feels pretty realistic to having an actual wife. As you progress and leave the metro to go to completely different areas the whole vibe of the game changes too but definitely not in a bad way »
