Avis des joueurs Steam
Juillet 2026. Poussiéreux dans l'ambiance, daté dans le gameplay...et dans le "look" en général... Un jeux du grenier en gros.. Mais moi j'aime bien...quelques heures par-ci, par -là.

Punky purple post-apocalyptic shooter Rage 2 is the next free title available for PC via the Epic Games Store. id Software and Just Cause developer Avalanche Studio's fun but underloved sequel will be available to claim from 18th to 25th February, the same dates as top-down indie racer Absolute Drift. The game's gunplay earned itself points in Eurogamer's Rage 2 review, though Vikki Blake wrote that its open-world setting ended up letting the rest of it down.Read more
Have You Played… Rage 2?
Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. One a day, every day, perhaps for all time. I have often related how, whilst covering E3 2018 from the UK, I was watching Bethesda’s live show at some ungodly hour in the morning, having not slept for some days because of watching other live shows at ungodly hours in the morning, and suddenly Andrew W.K. happened. He and his band absolutely crushing Ready To Die (Mr. W.K. proving he is indeed a very accomplished piano player in the process) whilst the camera kept cutting to Bethesda’s visibly bemused live audience of tired journalists and industry investors and producers – one woman even has her mouth hanging open – broke something within me and I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe and nearly fell off my chair. And this was all because of Rage 2. (more…)

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« Rage 2 has some problems, but taken entirely as an FPS it’s probably my favourite game of the year so far. The open world needs a bit more personality, there needs to be more actual story missions, and you could drown in the amount of upgrade options there are - but none of that matters once you get into combat. I spent over 20 hours in Rage 2 and every moment was a blast, with constantly exciting shooting that rivals Doom for thrills. And I’ll be carrying on playing it after this review, too. If you’re looking for a 100-hour open-world game, look away. If you want an FPS, look no further. »
« Since we took our first steps in Avalanche Studios' post-apocalypse, we have had a hard time putting the control aside. The combination of an open world, mutant freaks and super powers is too entertaining, actually far above our expectations. Along with the eminent control and the dynamic battles, it makes Rage 2 one of the year's most addictive titles to date. »
« Rage 2 shines in its gunfights, driving sequences, and from the fun perks and upgrades that you can use. The open world is an invitation to exploration but still sometimes feels a bit empty. »
« Rage 2 is an excellent shooter, and not much else. Want a complex story? Wrong address. Looking for an original, authentic world to explore - nope, not here. But if you want to shoot, shoot, and then shoot some more, be invincible and also crazy, then hop in - you're in for a ride. »
« While it’s a bit slow to start, frontloaded with tutorials and exposition, and generally muddled at the outset, Rage 2 shapes up into an incredibly fun time and a natural evolution of a franchise I was worried Id had written off as a dead end. »
« Rage 2 has been an immense improvement over its predecessor. And as someone who loved Avalanche's Mad Max, I can say it's very clear that id and Avalanche work well to create mayhem only they're capable of mastering. We may never get a sequel to Mad Max, but with Rage 2, we don't need it. It may not be perfect, but Rage 2 is a whole lot of fun, and I expect we'll be seeing more in this series for years to come. Or so I hope. »
« RAGE 2 is a frantic, mad and satisfying FPS, with tons of possibilities to play and kill enemies and with a very rich endgame. »
« Beautiful and varied world, high-speed vehicle combat, fine-tuned gunfights - on its own, every aspect of this game is great. But Rage 2 as a whole is somehow less than sum of its parts. [Issue#238, p.34] »
« Wasted opportunity. The world looks great, FPS mechanics are great. No story & campaign is insanely short. After finishing, I felt like I mostly wasted my time. Might as well have just played COD or Fortnite »
« Rage 2 is a game that frequently has an unfair reputation, but it is actually a hidden gem that prioritises pure, high-octane fun over everything else. When you compare it to the first Rage, it is a massive improvement in almost every department. The world is no longer just a collection of brown corridors, and it has instead become a vibrant and neon-soaked playground where the combat is fluid, impactful, and genuinely satisfying. If you enjoy games that let you combine powerful abilities with tight gunplay, this is arguably one of the best experiences available. The open world itself is excellent and provides a beautiful backdrop for the carnage. However, the game does suffer from a notably short main story that could have benefited from significantly more content. Because the narrative is so brief, you quickly notice the repetitive nature of the gameplay loop. Often, the structure consists of completing Mission A and then driving to the opposite side of the map to initiate Mission B. While the driving mechanics are solid, the constant back-and-forth can become tedious after several hours of play. One of the most frustrating aspects is the limited fast-travel system, which is currently restricted to the main trader towns. If there were more strategic locations to unlock, the experience would have been much more rewarding. For instance, rather than just clearing out generic bandit camps, the developers should have included a faction system that allowed players to permanently take over Shrouded hideouts or bases. Converting these conquered outposts into fast-travel points would have provided a much-needed sense of progression and made navigating the vast map far more convenient. Even with these gripes, I personally found Rage 2 to be a total blast. It became my favourite "low stakes" game, the one I would load up just to enjoy the incredible movement and gunplay whenever I wanted to relax. It knows exactly what it wants to be, and I think it succeeds as a loud, colourful, and incredibly smooth shooter. While I can see the flaws that others point out, the pure joy I felt during the combat encounters made it well worth my time. If you are looking for a post-apocalyptic adventure that is actually fun to play, I highly recommend giving it a chance. »
« Gun-play sobresaliente y divertodo marca de la casa en un juego terriblemente malo en todo lo demás. »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« RAGE 2 is criminally underrated. If you're into fast-paced, visceral combat with incredible physics and destruction effects, this game delivers in spades. Every shot you fire has weight — enemies react with satisfying ragdoll physics, explosions ripple through the environment, and the feedback is incredibly polished. You can tell real care went into the combat mechanics and graphical effects. From bullet impact to vehicle crashes, it's chaos done right. Yes, the open world is huge but feels a bit empty, and the story is basically forgettable. But I genuinely didn’t care — the core gameplay is so tight and fun that I found myself ignoring the narrative and just diving into the action. If you’re the kind of player who values moment-to-moment gameplay, fluid gunplay, and stylish destruction over deep storytelling, RAGE 2 is absolutely worth your time. Especially now, post-patch, it runs great even on PS4. Don’t trust the hate — this is a solid 8/10 for sheer fun. »
« The Good: Graphics, Combat, Vehicles, plus the weapons with your powers make for an enjoyable game. It makes you feel it's and ID game, weapons pack a punch, enemies amd activities are varied enough and it has sort of a futuristic Mad Max type of open world feel to it. The Bad: The pacing and story leave lots to be desired. And yes I get it... pacing depends on each play style but you never feel a sense of completion or the need to get every power up and weapon once the game ends (took me 19hrs) with a decent amount of extra quests. It suddenly ends and didn't feel the need to finish exploring some regions since RAGE2 lacks a general sense of direction with rewarding actions. It's an average game with great qualities ideal for a future improvement in the series. »
« Awsome game. I wish a part 3 would come. ID software never disappoints. They should have made more advertising. Many people dont even know it exists. »
