Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Gaming Age 100/100

« My final thoughts on my overall experience with Dying Light 2: Stay Human remains positive. Seeing some coverage come out and be turned off by the bugs and issues that were pre-release was expected, but disappointing since I had faith that Techland would stay true to the fans and make sure the experience is covered top to bottom with prime support for the players and community. I commend the entire development team including Lead Designer Tymon Smektala for being engaged with the community leading to the release and listening to what they all have to say. It shows in the final release and look forward to spending even more hours in Villedor for years to come. »

App Trigger 95/100

« Dying Light 2 Stay Human is the sequel we hoped for and nearly everything Techland promised. There are some technical issues that can affect your quality of gameplay, but I have all the faith in Techland to iron those out, possibly even before its official release. This is going to be the game to beat this year. »

Hobby Consolas 95/100

« Dying Light 2 is a masterpiece. We loved the navigation mechanics, brutal combat, deep characters and the feeling of changing the world with every decision. Even though we found some bugs and a little downgrade compared to the E3 gameplay. »

Attack of the Fanboy 90/100

« Dying Light 2 is a bigger and bolder sequel that improves upon the original in every way. Not only does it have one of the most enjoyable traversal systems in any game ever, but it also provides players with interesting characters and quests to break up all the running. »

Carole Quintaine 90/100

« Dying Light 2 is a great game. Its greatest quality is its generosity, whether in the gameplay but also in the heart of its vast open world. I found it entertaining to the highest degree and intelligent with respect to its mechanics, especially with regard to the Parkour. The characters are all credible and we don’t let them down to the end. The ultra satisfying progression system, the craftsmanship, and the possibilities offered by paragliding and grappling make Techland’s game a very complete experience. »

COGconnected 90/100

« I've loved my time with Dying Light 2. While it undoubtedly could use a patch or two, the foundation that's been laid for the next five years is solid. The parkour is fun, the combat engaging, and overall, Stay Human manages to be one of the tensest games of the past decade. It's everything the original was, only better. Can we ask for anything more? »

DualShockers 90/100

« There's no doubt about it, Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a sequel of epic proportions. Everything fans loved about the original title is still very much present, but now with a bigger story, new features, and a vast open-world filled with areas to explore and loot. »

PlayStation Universe 90/100

« Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been a long time coming, and thankfully it's worth the wait. I loved the time I spent exploring Villedor; finding random events and scaling buildings took me back to the old days of Assassins Creed II. While I wish I wasn't being timed on the occasions I went into a dark building or decided to explore at night, it's a minor issue to overlook when most of the game is so brilliantly executed and fun to play. »

« Superb ps5 pro update makes the game really shine in 2026 with all the updates/patches installed. You can even run a few mods too! Soundtrack combat and parkour all remain a strong point with a few minor improvements over the launch to give back some of the "impact" initially missing from the original dl. Story is a mixed bag with the tone of the game often swinging wildly, a sad hangover from the notable issues behind the scenes at the developer as the project lead was sacked midway through production. All things considered, this dl2 is the best version I've played on console in 2026. Normally I'd drop this a 7 but for nostalgic reasons I'm putting this to an 8 as I love playing this with my son - many happy memories »

« I cannot support racist changes to a game and I wish I never gave them my money in the first place. »

jaredsimpson 6/10

« Its committed the biggest sin in video games for me and that is bloated. Its just the first game, x 10, when it only needed to be x2 »

Gullidion 8/10

« Weird ass game, guns weren't even in it originally and were added retroactively. Techland has dedication, and turned it into a pretty fun game, combat and parkour wise. That **** story is abysmal **** though oh my god »

muzser 6/10

« Unfortunately, the story is below average. The graphics are good for the time it was released. Although the gameplay becomes highly repetitive, the parkour mechanics are enough to keep you engaged and help cover its flaws. Despite a long time having passed since its release, bugs still disrupt the experience. Overall, it’s an above-average game, but one that fails to meet expectations. »

ev3r 4/10

« The sequel is more fun. They fixed a lot of the annoying issues from the first game, and parkour feels way smoother. Combat is still clunky, though, and the vibe of the original Dying Light is completely gone. »

Rorke 3/10

« Honestly, if you think about it, nothing truly compares to the original Dying Light 1—it’s a timeless masterpiece in the world .If you’ve played the second part, you’ll probably notice that it's filler : most of the reviewers was absolutely right it's garbage interesting is that i played Far Cry 6 before Dying Light 2, it feel like both games confirm the exact same **** .Modern games today are, honestly, 99% filler. You’ll notice there’s no real attention to detail, no real focus on characters—from actual experience. Yes, the world is big and visually beautiful, and the graphics are amazing, but the problem is that it feels completely **** can clearly see that companies are now focusing only on profit, stuffing their games with disgusting ideas, degeneracy, and garbage. Games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows are a clear example of that.Even the popular games that are currently in the spotlight, like RE9, you might find that despite the beautiful details and incredible graphics, they still feel more like a “time-passing” experience rather than something truly deep—maybe just setting up for a future installment, but at least in a cleaner way and without **** the end, you’ll probably come to the same conclusion: The last truly strong generation of games was around 2017–2018… after that, things changed a lot. »

JayLemad 8/10

« A fecha de esta reseña, el juego está bastante bien. Es sólido, apenas contiene bugs, y es divertido. Lo "malo" sigue siendo su campaña. La campaña está MUY por debajo de la primera entrega. Por lo demás, el juego cumple. »
