Mario Party 6

18 novembre 2004

GamePro 90/100

« On their own they pose no real threat to players of average skill, but pit four such players against one another and watch the tension grow. »

Pelit (Finland) 87/100

« A nice multiplayer game for newbies and veterans alike. It is simple yet suitably challenging. The microphone-based minigames are hilarious. But where is marioke? [Apr. 05] »

Cinescape 83/100

« Do not play this game alone or with one other person. It just isn't that fun when you don't have a minimum of three or the ideal four players for the game. This is a party game, and no one likes someone who likes to party alone. »

GMR Magazine 80/100

« Just as polished as the rest of the series, striking just the right balance between familiar and fresh material. [Feb 2005, p.99] »

GameSpy 80/100

« There's not really all that much new content in Mario Party 6 save for the microphone novelty, but in the end the final product feels more polished and enjoyable than both previous efforts released on the GameCube. »

G4 TV 80/100

« But compared to the last few games in the series, Mario Party 6 is definitely an improvement and hopefully is an indication of where this series will go in the future. »

Armchair Empire 79/100

« Like I wrote when reviewing "Mario Party 4," "As a single-player experience MP4 lacks in excitement and any kind of addictive fun factor." »

TotalGames.net 76/100

« Whether you're frantically picking up letters to give to the Shy Guy postman, or mowing as much grass as you can, the games are inventive, manic and most importantly fun. [JPN Import] »

« in this Mario Party a son and moon are arguing against who which is better but Paul Mario in the gang have now got to solve out this problem of how to sort out the argument and just you guessed it they have to collect power stars around boards to win the cam down situation good luck Heroes and 10 out of 10 for me »

« Mario Party 6 is a masterpiece party game as it offers wide variety of great characters with my favorite being Waluigi. The game has fun maps with the day and night cycle is a unique mechanic in game as it gives a fun challenge for other players and yourself. The game has a great story mode by letting you play against CPU's that will get more challenging more and more. The game is quirky in a way that i personally love myself with the character Designs and how the game has this cartoony artstyle almost. Anyway this was my full review of Mario Party 6 and if you read this review thank you. »

« It's better than Jamboree. The story mode and characters are the best. Characters and gameplay. A good successor to Mario Party 5 and its N64 predecessors. »

« It abandoned the classic board game style, and the changes aren't interesting enough. Later, it got worst, they killed totally the franchise in Mario Party 9 and 10 »

Magenta_black 9/10

« Me gusto casi todo, el concepto de día y noche, los tableros, los minijuegos (excepto algunos de micrófono), lo malo es que es muy tedioso desbloquear contenido extra. »

« Let me preface this with a question for daisy: GYÄÄÄÄÄÄTTTT!!!! Now that we got that out of the way: This is mario party, of course its goated. The gamecube mario partys are some of the best of the series and I WILL die on this hill (hank hill reference (amrican dad)). Yeah but no for real the minigames are nice, the boards have nice variety with fun gimmicks (and the fact that there are more maps than on the newer switch version is crazy, I'll say it again: the gamcube mario partys are goated). What if mario got a south side fade? Then the game would be a 9, obviously (think before you speak). You dont think, you are a monkey(fogettaboutit -charlie from its always sunny) »

« Probably arguably the most important Mario party game. It is game changing and maybe even revolutionary for the genre it is defining. However, it is not the best Mario because it did not feel real. No alive. I cannot comprehend. I think if I had to sum it up they really messed up the controls for this game. And they messed them up until mario party 8 but that one was good. They know what they were doing. But not quite. »

« The best and definitive Mario party and the only Nintendo game that I that shook things up perfectly to revive a stale series. »
