Immortals Fenyx Rising
Immortals Fenyx Rising

« It’s a pretty joyful take on open-world action, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s a late contender for Game of the Year. »
« Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a wonderfully crafted epic in which Ubisoft Quebec celebrate rather than shay away from their influences to deliver humour and action in equal doses. »
« Immortals Fenyx Rising is by far one of the best surprises of 2020. It shot directly up to the top of my best games of the year. »
« Fenyx Rising is a great adventure. An organic open world, full of surprises, with brilliant puzzles and combat mechanics, set in greek mythology. It is not Breath of the Wild, but it is close enough in many (good) things. »
« A consistently compelling progression curve, gorgeous world, and a staggering amount of fun content makes Immortals Fenyx Rising a truly fantastic game, even if it is rather derivative at times. »
« Immortals Fenyx Rising conquered us since its debut. Now that we have played it thoroughly, we can say that Ubisoft has given us a small masterpiece better than Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. »
« Ubisoft created an instant classic with Immortals Fenyx Rising, and I'm eager to see where the franchise goes from here. Its breathtaking art style and landscapes are complemented by fun combat and thoughtful puzzles. While the story itself isn't anything special, the humor imbued within each conversation makes it memorable. »
« Immortals contains all the ingredients I want from an epic, open-world adventure steeped in mythology. With empowering combat, rewarding exploration, and a story that shines a spotlight on its characters through humor, Immortals Fenyx Rising leverages its myriad inspirations to discover its own identity and deliver an outstanding open-world experience. »

« Immortals Fenyx Rising is a colorful and lighthearted open-world adventure that blends Greek mythology with a formula openly inspired by Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Why Play It: - A Spectacular Map. The Golden Isle is a visual feast. Divided into regions dedicated to the gods, it offers magnificent vistas and a vibrant art direction that makes exploration a true pleasure. - A Variety of Puzzles: The world is scattered with environmental riddles and clever dungeons (the Vaults). The quality and diversity of the puzzles constantly stimulate the mind without ever getting boring. - An Effective Combat System: Combat is fluid, dynamic, and spectacular. Alternating between sword strikes, axe slashes, and divine powers delivers responsive and highly satisfying encounters. »
« For starters: I'm really torn between 7 and 8 as a rating for this game. I'm exactly at 7.5.I like this game. The combat is very satisfying, especially against multiple enemies; it isn't a hack and slash, but sometimes it feels a lot like Force Unleashed, and that is when this game shines for me combat-wise. The story is alright; it gets you settled in, but it never becomes truly gripping or even entertaining. It serves as a reason for this adventure to start and continue – nothing more. However, this game is captivating. The loop of exploration and combat really hooks you for the first 10-15 hours. After that it feels more and more repetitive, and you remember that this is a game made by Ubisoft. The puzzles and challenges become bigger in scale, but that isn't really an improvement. It feels more and more like a chore, and the glimpses of captivating activities lessen. That doesn't make it a bad game overall, but it does leave you with more of a mixed feeling and the question of whether the game might be a bit too long. On a side note: the game is quite beautiful and can be quite scenic. Of course, you have to be a fan of the overall look, but if you are, you will stop every now and again and admire the view. Overall, if you've ever played a Ubisoft game in recent years and enjoyed it, you will also enjoy your time on the Golden Isle. »
« Great game. Lots of beautiful areas to explore. Lots of quests that you can actually make sense of (which is saying a lot in the present age). Has a lovable story and a likeable protagonist. There's witty dialog and jokes / insults in-between. The fighting mechanic is fullfilling. I enjoyed the hack-and-slash gameplay. Some of the puzzles were fun. Many of them were just quite tedious - fetch this box. Fetch that stone (which you cannot see anywhere). Go fetch a cabbage etc. Which is why I won't be giving it a 10/10. But all characters were very well-made. There's a lot of gameplay variety which adds to the fun. There's also really a lot of grind to upgrade your character which is possibly better off cheating. Overall a great game. »
« I am really enjoying this game and my only regret is that it took me so long to start playing It. But it has really fun mechanics and beautiful graphics, really enjoying! »
« + Colourful, pretty open world + Engaging, fast paced combat. + Character, armour and weapons look nice + Puzzles are varied and challenging + Exploration is fun + Skill and general leveling is simple but varied - The "humour" and cutscenes in general are terrible, been skipping them all Overall been enjoying this a lot, perfect game to casually play while listening to podcasts. »
« To everyone who loves greek's mythology this is amazing, you can feel all the love for it, if you don't know much about it it is normal you can't apprecciate it as much as it should be. I loved it, it is fun and has everything, from puzzle game to platform, action and even more, maybe too much farming sometimes but Ubisoft didn't even care about this game despite being great compared to what they made in the last few years. »
