Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2

« I'm blown away by the feel of the game and just how much fun it is to play online by myself and with my brothers. The leveling up system, replayability, variety of the missions, and the story have made it worth dusting off my DualSense controller. »
« It is quite simply the best co-op experience i had, and a masterclass in how to handle a liver-service game in a good, honest and fair way. »
« Helldivers 2 delivers a streamlined, premium experience, features some of the most satisfying space marine-style combat I've ever played. »
« There's no getting around it - Helldivers 2 is a supremely fun, frequently unintentionally hilarious and bombastic squad shooter that builds upon its predecessor and deftly sets up a long-term future in the process. Though the lack of split-screen is keenly felt and Helldivers 2 is by and large identical to its predecessor in so many ways, Arrowhead Studios highly anticipated sequel nonetheless does a great job of repackaging a shooter that not nearly enough people played into a thunderous current-gen offering that sets a new bar for extraction shooters everywhere. »
« Helldivers 2 is a riotous affair, offering up best-in-class gunplay, a truly epic and often cinematic experience, mixed in with one of the best co-op gameplay romps currently available. Its present matchmaking issues hold it back from true glory, but when it works it really works, forcing you to feel a sense of patriotism for Super Earth as the score swells and bullets fly. Helldivers 2 is a hell of a lot of fun, and is the best laugh you and your mates will have on PS5. »
« Helldivers 2 is a refreshingly fun power fantasy, where mastery through teamwork breeds satisfaction. Diving out of a charging bug's way and firing into its exposed back or blowing up a machine dropship before it can deploy its forces feels incredible. The game's tone is finely tuned so that getting caught in a friendly airstrike and seeing your own character's limbs go flying isn't frustrating, it's a hilariously minor setback. All told, the modestly priced, always online game takes a measured approach to its monetization while being built entirely to bolster its main gameplay loop, making Helldivers 2 a shining example against $70 live-service titles that nickel-and-dime their players. »
« Helldivers II came as a surprise and marks a significant moment in PlayStation Studios' console and PC releases. If it has the right support, it will be a game remembered and played for years to come. »
« Helldivers 2 is a surprise hit, featuring some of the best moment-to-moment combat and a satisfying rinse and repeat formula. »

« The most amazing game ever where other games struggle HELLDIVERS 2 shines aa an example: I love titanfall 2 but the queues are horrible, im HELLDIVERS there are no queues as you can play solo or insanley fast find a map by pressing search, the stratagem system is super nice and the warbond instead of battle passes is great, gameplay wise all the 3 factions offer their own challange, the automatons feeling like a proper war with the ranges fighting and the absolute tanks, the terminids letting you gun down hordes of enemies amd the squids getting new content to give it it’s own complex identity »
« Worst game I’ve ever played. Right once you spawn after you die you die immediately again every single time and you fail every mission. »
« Good morning Helldivers, Unfortunately with recent changes to Helldivers 2, I have decided to drop the game. My in game name is RyuTheConqueror and I've been playing this game for over three years. It used to be an enjoyable game and at times it really was fun and entertaining with some of the updates they made. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. As time went on, it felt as if the devs started to take the fun away by making unnecessary changes or just not fixing current issues in general. At one point I think one of the devs said they see it as a grunt fantasy. But thats the thing, we're not grunts. We're supposed to be Super Earth's finest but... it seemed that as time passed and the 'balancing' came, i think they made it clear that they really do see us as just... grunts. One of there past updates changed Hive Guards from medium pen to heavy pen, if you play against Terminids a lot then you know this was a very very bad 'balancing' change. On a more recent update they 'balanced' a couple of primary weapons, one of which was the JAR Dominator. This weapon is one of the reasons I kept playing there buggy game. The balancing they did, made the JAR Dominator very unrealistic with the resupply and unreliable at that point. Changing things that are good, to worse seems to be Arrowheads moto unfortunately. There are multiple issues that have been present since I started playing such as the invisible walls that larger Terminid enemies create. For those who've deployed on Oshaune and Omnicron, you know what I mean. Larger enemies(Imaler, Bile Titan, both Chargers & Dragonroaches) create an invisible wall around there vicinity. The path looks clear, but when you try to go that way you hit an invisible wall. Sometimes you even get stuck in these invisible walls which ultimately gets you killed. The predator strain hunters are still able to jump through basically any object or wall to reach you. All smaller to medium sized Terminids STILL clip through walls and are able to hit you through walls. The list goes on. I have tried addressing these issues & bugs to Arrowhead but a member of there team simply brushed it off as a suggestion. Upon creating a ticket, I was told that these issues were a suggestion and that I needed to go to discord and write it out in there 'suggestion & feedback' page. If this is considered a suggestion, I cannot imagine what Arrowhead considers an issue. Simply put, I'm tired of this. I guess overtime you get fatigued but not from Helldivers 2 no, its a decent game. You get the fatigued from Arrowhead not properly fixing issues that have been present for so long. You get fatigued when they start ruining your favorite weapons or mechanics. So unfortunately, this is Ryu The Conqueror signing off and quitting this game for good. It was a good run and we certainly had some good times but... the game is officially unplayable for me now with recent changes. Best regards, Ryu »
« The game used to be great, and could have been amazing by now if the developers actually worked on making the game more fun rather than just going back and forth with balance patches that usually do more harm than good. »
« I've got a group of four friends i've known since childhood and it was a long while since we all had a game to jump into that we all enjoyed... Then we got the call from Super Earth and we all knew we had to do our part. Seriously this game brought back my group of friends and each and every play session was fun, engaging and down right hilarious. There has been no game I have ever played where it made an entire fan base stand together when they decided they wanted to have PC players sign into PSN accounts. I never cared much about this but watching the back lash and eventual reversal of the initial announcement was a once in a lifetime thing and made me realize just how amazing this game and how dedicated this fan base was. They made a lot of pro consumer choices throughout the initial launch period and I loved every minute of it. One of the most fun Coop shooters I've ever played. »
« The game was incredible at launch. However the devs showed their true colors over time. Antagonizing the player base. Purposefully ruining the experience and fun of the game to feed their ego and grunt fantasy kink. They just love to abuse us and create problems to sell solutions. But they sure as hell don’t care about fixing the countless bugs and issues. Without counting most of the game was outsourced to top it all off. Overall. Just don’t spend on it. Take it from someone who loved playing back in the days »
« It was a very good game at launch, but every update since 2024 has made the game worse. The developers do not understand why people enjoy their game, and it shows. Every patch takes away more than it adds. Every change shows a lack of care and understanding. Changing mechanics to be less fun. Prioritizing selling new content while leaving old content and features broken for years. There is no content after the first ~20 hours that you can get without paying money. A recent update started paywalling vehicles for the first time and broke the game completely for Linux and Steam deck. Not to mention that performance is genuinely the worst I've seen in any modern game, likely due to its kernel level anticheat that doesn't stop cheaters. If I reviewed this a few months after launch I'd give it a 9. Now? The game is literally unplayable, with random crashes and hard locks that, in one occasion, forced me to replace my motherboard. I cannot give a game I can no longer play even a mediocre score. »
« Don't Buy This Game!!! Let me be clear. This game is great, but the studio Arrowhead (AH) and the devs are too busy killing their own game. It is a constant cycle of "its so over" and "we are so back." This game is currently uphold by players' hope that the incompetent devs can somehow improve the game instead of destorying the game through their pathetic ego and **** head of AH said they are not focusing on any progression, any fixes to the mistakes they made or take in any feedback from the wider community. They are stuck in thier own bubble focusing purely on player count and only listen to yes-men who listen to them. Look at the recent AMA (Ask me anything), they did on reddit. It was the worst AMA I have ever seen, it is only delusion and deflection. The devs **** at their own game but they still want to make it into their "grunt fantasy." The only progression you will get is by paying (warbond, aka season pass). The AH from the start of this game is dead. The only thing that remains is greed and **** devs will lie to you over and over again. They will make things harder for you, rules that apply to you does not apply to the enemy. The only time they actually fix anything is either 1) player count dips so low, they can't ignore anymore, such as during the 60 day patch when they were nerfing everything and ignoring everyone or 2) before the release of a new warbond, since they are greedy POS who creates problems so they can sell you the **** you have some semblance of intelligence, unlike the glazedivers too busy defending the devs like all the nintendo and playstation fanboys, look at all their promises. From better communication, to not nerfing what our equipment (like the Coyote), and look at how their Mods and devs talk to the players when there are no cameras pointing at them. They are delusional at best, incompetent people who got lucky at worst. The devs have been constantly increasing their studio size but the quality of work has been only getting worse. A side note, look at the content, from the battle for super earth, the squids, cyberstan, these are not the work of AH. They outsource everything to a 3rd studio, they are only there to put it into the game and do some balancing (to AH balancing means nerfing everything that is fun). AH will fix a harmless bugs like leaving the shuttle during extraction but will not fix bugs like enemy clipping through terrain. This game has no hope with the current people in charge, it would been better if it was to be handed off to another studio. »
