Avis des critiques et joueurs

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

VideoGamesLife 100/100

« Great for a quick game on the bus, perfect for those extended sessions on the train, Burnout Legends is right up there with Lumines and Virtua Tennis on our PSP must-have list. Truly brilliant. »

Times Online 100/100

« The courses are as crisp as ever, while the bone-shattering mayhem on the roads looks and sounds just as convincing. »

1UP 95/100

« Burnout Legends is certainly the best racing game on PSP, and let's face it, it's up against plenty of competition. Its structure is perfect for a handheld experience, as none of the challenges it presents last more than a few minutes. »

Worth Playing 95/100

« With 175 single player events and ad-hoc multiplayer (support for infrastructure mode would've been great) for up to four players, Burnout Legends will likely stay in your PSP for a good long time. »

Gamer's Hell 93/100

« The best aspects of the first three Burnout titles have been combined to create the handheld masterpiece that is Legends. Even if you’re not an avid fan of the genre, Legends’ intuitive gameplay offers challenge right from the start and expands on an in-depth adventure throughout the vast racing world. »

Gaming Age 91/100

« Fans of the Burnout series will be hard pressed not to be impressed by what was crammed into such a small disc. »

Game Chronicles 91/100

« It’s not often I can wholeheartedly recommend a game for mandatory purchase, especially at full price, but Burnout Legends is one of those games that is just so much fun that you won’t be able to resist. »

GameSpot 90/100

« Simply makes fantastic use of the PSP technology, providing a profoundly impressive audiovisual experience and fast, frantic racing, both of which easily rank with the best the platform has to offer. »

« If you need some energy or happy feeling this game is absolutely all of them. This game's advantages are graphics and physics. If you did not play this game ever you should try this »

Balazs360 10/10

« This is a crazy fun racing game that looks good on the PSP and has amazing gameplay. I really like the variety of the events: once you simply race, another time you might smash through traffic. I didn't consider myself one who loves crashing cars, but it is sooo satisfying in this game, heck, you're even rewarded for that! The soundtrack also stood out to me, it might consist of copyrighted rock songs, but it's a solid selection. I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be my favorite PSP game so far (though I haven't played with many essential games yet), and I want more Burnout. It exceeded my expectations. »

NagaiTk 10/10

« Burnout legends is probably the best arcade racing game for the PSP, the game is beautiful, the gameplay is very enjoyable, the physics are great for a PSP game, the challenges are cool and of course great music. The devs really made this game with care, IT'S SO WORTH PLAYING »

dominatr 9/10

« All burnouts mixed for the portable consoles. Enough said.. is quite short though »

Yojimbo2015 8/10

« Essentially a greatest hits style compilation of elements from the previous Burnout games, it's not quite as good as Dominator but still has plenty of nitrous burning, traffic dodging thrills and spills. »

« Burnout Legends is my first Burnout game i played, and contrary to games like Ratchet And Clank and Jak And Daxter on the PSP that, while they may be inferior to the PS2 trilogy at the end of the day, when I played them for the first time I really wanted to know what the originals were like. Unfortunately with Burnout Legends this is not the case. It reminds me of a recent game that becomes one of my most dissapointed games: NFS MW 2012, although not as bad thankfully. For starting this is a racing game with crashing physics, but i would tell you even the Java Asphalt games had much better physics and handling than this: The controls are clunky, the drifting is all over the place, the crash cam is annoying and due to the pixelation is hard to see traffic cars at the distance, the hit detection to count a hit as a takedown is inconsistent and the game ends up being repetitive. Did i also mention terrible rubberbanding? Ugh.... This proves how EA doesnt know how to make racing games on portable hardware (maybe except Carbon Own The City). I also dont like it how the collectors cars arent all unlockable by normal means and that some special takedowns are pretty obscure or hard to do, making 100% completion a bit of a mess. At least the graphics are impressive for the PSP and the sense of speed is incredible. I also like the zoom type of effect when doing takedowns and i have to admit, the game is a bit addicting and the amount of cars and tracks is pretty respectable so is a decent game to kill some time but nothing more. »
