The King of Fighters XIII Climax

« If you’re into fighting games and have yet to try out KOF, you should definitely check out the Steam Edition. »
« The PC version of The King of Fighters XIII is the best on the market, due its flawless netcode and the inclusion of the DLC's contents in the base pack. »
« KOF XIII on PC is the best version of the game. All the DLC are included and the net code has been deeply improved. The real 2D versus games lovers will love it. »
« With a large roster of characters to choose from, the focus of three-on-three fights, and the overall art style and sensibility, King of Fighters XIII really does feel good to play. »
« As a modern reinvention, The King of Fighters XIII is everything longtime fans could hope for, and a sufficient cleansing of the disappointing KoF XII. It’s too bad that SNK couldn’t cater more to newbie players just tuning in, but even with the confusing third act storyline, the tight gameplay and character variety might prove enough to make those late bloomers into newly converted fans. »
« A fine combat system soured by poorly explained complexity, and a lovely looking game let down by a lack of graphics options. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« This KOF is one of the best ever released, and one of my favorites. The 2D graphics are amazing (both the characters and the backgrounds), and the character animations are very fluid. The soundtrack is the best among the available 2D titles for PC. Overall, it’s more balanced than the previous ones, and it’s even possible to finish the arcade mode on the standard difficulty. I also liked that it has separate arcade and story modes to please all tastes. The only downside is the resolution of the characters, which is 720p (they could have at least remastered it to 1080p for this PC version). If you like 2D fighting games, don't miss this gem. »
« God damn beast. On Steam they sell this as a set with 2002 UM and 98 UM. Just get them all. These are top class fighters. Fast and fun. Criteria filled. As a side note, I see a review here saying about loads of menus and bad button mapping, long cut scenes, bad button mapping etc. I just hit start, pick my characters and whoop some ass. Skip all the cut scenes. That's why I love it. Straight to the action fast and fun. I have gone in the menu and set the graphics and it took seconds. »
« In English: This is probably the most beautiful 2D fighting game ever made. Of course, the fact that it was one of the last made using sprites it helps. The gameplay is quite challenging as usual in the whole series. Some characters are weird without their classic special moves (e.g. Iori Yagami), but most are very refined. It is not very inviting for rookies but, after learn it, it allows for incredible variation on each match. The difficulty is high. Even at lower levels and using the 3 fighters team against just one boss, it's not gonna be everyone who will win out of trouble. The stages are spectacular, even though some have animals in place of humans (e.g. Paris). Despide of that, I would say they are perfect. Wonderful art direction! As an eternal Street Fighter player, getting used to The King of Fighters again was easy. I played all the games in the series and this is my favorite ever. Whether due to the number of characters, the beautiful 2D graphics (with 3D elements) or the gameplay. A masterpiece and much better than the newest one, The King of Fighters XIV. A dificuldade é alta. The King of Fighters XIV. »
« Gorgeous game. Drive and HD cancels are incredible! you can also customize your own Alts for your characters. Phenomenal music as well. EXTREMELY UNDERRATED GAME »
« Never had the chance to play the game though I bought it through Steam. They sell a broken product as when I tried to launch it it wouldn't stop saying '' The game data is corrupted ''. Requested a refund 2 days ago and they still didn't review the case. Terrible Steam service. »
« This game is great. One of the best of KOFs games and on of best 2D fighting games on PC. The system is great, the net code is very good. I won't give 10, because, personally, a preferthe system of KOF XI (for PS2). »
