À propos du jeu
Attachez votre ceinture, pilote!

Reality Check
Hi everyone,It’s been a while. During the past month, life forced me to step away from development. It wasn’t a decision I wanted to make, but it was necessary. Now I’m finally back, and I wanted to share where things stand. First: A new Swarm Grinder update is on the way. We plan to continue supporting the game with regular updates again. Second: Geo Grinder is nearing release. Development is in its final stages, and we’re excited to share more with you very soon. Thank you to everyone who stayed with us during this time. Your support, patience, and encouragement mean more than you know.— Kagan

Avis des critiques et joueurs
Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« A Survivors-like with a twist, Swarm Grinder is the type of game that'll have you coming back again and again. With meaningful upgrades and plenty of reason to keep playing, it's an excellent example of the genre — with a few unique twists thrown in too. »
« Swarm Grinder is a cruel and often challenging rogue-like experience. Moreover, the casual gameplay is ideal to enjoy between major title. However, a lack of originality and tough action may put some people off. »
« Swarm Grinder is a good time but it does lack a little variety. You have to keep yourself engaged all throughout and there’s plenty to do, but prepare for an actual grind to victory. »
« Swarm Grinder offers a compelling roguelite experience set on an alien planet, featuring intense combat and resource management against hordes of varied enemies. Despite its engaging gameplay loop and substantial updates post early access, its visual presentation feels underwhelming compared to genre peers. »
« Beyond being labelled as a Vampire Survivor clone, it is a fun to play game with good ideas. »
« With appealing pixel graphics and some smart tweaks to the bullet heaven formula, Swarm Grinder is a lot of fun... until it isn't. The lack of variety in playable characters, levels, and weapons drags down the experience, but die hard fans of the genre may still enjoy the grind. Those prone to nightmares involving insectoid aliens who want to suck your face off should probably avoid. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Its cool little vampire survivors like game. but just like all the rest they get boring quickly for me, but that isnt to say it isnt fun and there is stuff to unlock here so thats of course a plus. I like the mechanic about how enemies spawn and how to get upgrades but there's so few at the moment that the gameplay becomes stagnant quickly. I'll pop on to play on occasion but its just a small time burner at best »
