« Nintendo Switch 2 has a summer blockbuster experience that faithfully honors its source material while introducing Star Fox to a new generation. »
« Star Fox is the blueprint for how Nintendo need to do remakes going forward. This is Star Fox for those who’ve been there from the start, and those starting here for the first time. Star Fox 64 is iconic, but this is now the definitive way to experience it. »
« Star Fox is back and better than ever, with gorgeous new visuals, sensational new content, and that same charming crew you already love. »
« It’s feels intuitive and looks amazingly smooth on-screen as you button bash and combine skills to take down armies of starships. A great addition to the Switch 2 library and a must-buy for gamers. »
« A fantastic remake of a classic that takes a huge leap forward visually. In terms of gameplay, Star Fox has never been better and offers plenty of reasons to replay each level. A must-buy if you own a Switch 2. »
« Star Fox maintains everything that was good about its N64 inspiration and enhances it with stellar visuals, an incredible soundtrack and masterful presentation. »
« Star Fox on Nintendo Switch 2 is a faithful reboot that modernizes the classic formula with gorgeous presentation and excellent voice acting. It plays things a little too safe at times, but the added challenges and polished gameplay make this the best Star Fox yet. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to the Lylat System, this is an easy recommendation, especially at its reasonable price point. »
« A faithful remake that pays tribute to a timeless classic without taking creative liberties, serving as proof that arcade-style design can still thrive in the modern AAA landscape. Recommended to longtime fans who still cherish their N64 cartridge, as well as anyone who enjoyed the original and wouldn't mind a modern visual overhaul. Let's just hope we won't have to revisit Lylat once again a few decades from now on Switch 4. »

« I never played the original but this game was awesome loved the controllers and everything looks amazing on switch 2 I enjoyed the challenge of trying to earn the medals for each area in the campaign. »
« Star Fox is a faithful remake, but at the end of the day, it’s just Star Fox. It’s fun for a bit, then it will probably sit on the shelf for a long time. I think a remake of an F-Zero game would have been a better choice. »
« Obviously, the visuals are an upgrade over Star Fox 64. Controls are very smooth and responsive. The cutscenes add more to the story and the characters. I'm hoping this sets the stage for a new series of Star Fox games, because (no spoilers) but the game definitely leaves itself open to there being some new adventures for the team. I can remember playing the original Star Fox back when walmart was doing an in-store contest and promotion, so I'm happy to see that Nintendo hasn't forgotten about it. Hopefully there's more to come. »
« If you are looking for a 1 for 1 Starfox 64 remake, you just hit the jackpot, its phenomenal. It's fun, controls like butter, offers a good challenge and is probably the best looking game on Switch 2 as of right now. However, I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get ANY new content. If we would've gotten 1 or 2 new levels, I would've rated this a 9 or 10... cmon Nintendo! »
« It was short and very old-school, but this simple "pew-pew" game against aliens was a lot of fun. »
« What an incredible job by Velan Studios! They somehow brought the iconic Star Fox team back through a wormhole, perfectly capturing the magic the series had on the Nintendo 64. The game still delivers that fast-paced arcade feeling while elevating every mission with cinematic moments that make the adventure even more epic and emotional. Veteran fans will get an incredible nostalgia boost and will enjoy the challenge of collecting every medal and completing all Expert challenges across every level. At the same time, the door is also wide open for newcomers who want to discover Fox McCloud outside The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Can't let you not play this game! I truly hope Nintendo keeps bringing back more of its classic gems with today's technology. Maybe F-Zero is next? »
« Absolute damn banger. Game is fun from start to finish - and a great example of a 1:1 remake should be »
« This game is so close to being perfect but I just wish they added another map or two to multiplayer. It’s a lot of fun, but playing the same 3 maps over and over kinda gets stale. The single player campaign is as fun as I remembered from the N64, and the cutscenes expand these characters a bit, but I do wish there was a tad more? Maybe from Star Wolf’s point of view? Overall, a fantastic experience with so much replayability. Challenge modes are fun, too! »
