Description (IGDB)

Sonic Adventure is a 3D platformer video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The player can control six characters from the Sonic universe, each with their own gameplay and point of view of the story. The game is divided up into two types of levels: Action Stages and Adventure Fields. The division of Action Stages and Adventure Fields are a serious departure from all previous Sonic games. Adventure Fields are non-linear game stages that contain very few items, generally designed for puzzle solving, exploration and plot advancement. Action Stages are more speed based and have Rings scattered in them. Sonic Adventure was the top-selling Dreamcast game and received a sequel in 2001, marking the 10th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Histoire (IGDB)

Doctor Robotnik seeks a new way to defeat his longtime nemesis Sonic and conquer the world. During his research he learns about an entity called Chaos, a creature that helped to protect the Chao and the all-powerful Master Emerald thousands of years ago. When a tribe of echidnas sought to steal the power of the Emeralds, breaking the harmony they had with the Chao, Chaos retaliated by using the Emeralds' power to transform into a monstrous beast, Perfect Chaos, and wipe them out. Before it could destroy the world, Tikal, a young echidna who befriended Chaos, imprisoned it in the Master Emerald along with herself. Eggman releases Chaos and Sonic and his friends must act against Eggman's plans and prevent the monster from becoming more powerful.

« Jogo ótimo incrível história extraordinária gameplay ótima e gráficos até q muito bons pra época tem alguns bugs de colisão mas é importante entender o contexto da época além de ter aquela gameplay chata e irritante do big fora isso muito bom »

« Rather a 7.5 but I gave it a 7 because i played with the pc version with mods that improve the game and make it like the dreamcast version. This game is pretty decent Sonics story has some good levels like speed highway emerald coast and red mountain some decent like ice cap and some bad.I really love how sonic controls in this game the op spindash moving the homing attack its pretty smooth and perfectly fits the more open level design its easily the best story out of all.Tails is also really good but probably only because the story reuses alot of stuff from sonics **** new racing mechanic is a cool concept but its poorly executed racing sonic is way to easy and doesnt impact the gameplay at all. Then theres gamma amy and knuckles wich are just fine and forgetable.I cant really point at anything I enjoyed about amy.Omega is a bit more memorable he has a nice story wich I didnt understand on my first **** gameplay is also kind of borring its to automatic one nice thing I liked about him is the timer...well the moment the timer actualy gets **** time I had little time because i didnt understand what to do for a **** stress of killing as much as possible while trying to beat the level is really fun but sadly almost never happens because the gamma levels are WAY to easy.Knuckles is also pretty alright his gameplay isnt to easy but also not to hard. I find it lame his story is only getting master emerald **** then theres big....borring,repetetive,poorly explained and luckily **** bosses in this game are pretty meh the only boss i didnt forget after like 20 minutes was the final boss wich I really liked because you feel fast and I guess Open your heart is a good song?I personaly think its very overrated and just alright but thats just my taste the whole vibe just isnt for me.Overall Sonic adventure 1 is a good game for its time and decent when looking at it with modern standards but some stuff impacted my experience with this game quite alot.I really love how you choose a story and play through it with only one character and really dont understand why they changed that in SA2.Because of this the pacing doesnt always get destroyed by the gamequality always **** I want to play through sonics story I only want to play with sonic imagine you would have to play a big level after every single sonic level that would completely destroy the pacing and fun(take notes **** really nice to see the same story from the perspective of other characters and it creates a very complete picture of the **** whats not so nice are the open zones they do add alot to the worldbuilding but theyre so lame and theres nothing to do in them often youre guideed to your next level very poorly wich is very **** be fair there is this glowing ball wich tells you where to go most of the time but you can miss it on your first playthrough and even if you know about it it still often isnt very **** time it litteraly just says have looked all around the city? And that isnt the only time that **** that jungle at the end of the game you litteraly get 0 clues where to go then there are these temple moments where theres also no guide. This really annoyed me on my first playthrough. »
