Sonic Adventure: Limited Edition
Sonic Adventure: Limited Edition

« Rather a 7.5 but I gave it a 7 because i played with the pc version with mods that improve the game and make it like the dreamcast version. This game is pretty decent Sonics story has some good levels like speed highway emerald coast and red mountain some decent like ice cap and some bad.I really love how sonic controls in this game the op spindash moving the homing attack its pretty smooth and perfectly fits the more open level design its easily the best story out of all.Tails is also really good but probably only because the story reuses alot of stuff from sonics **** new racing mechanic is a cool concept but its poorly executed racing sonic is way to easy and doesnt impact the gameplay at all. Then theres gamma amy and knuckles wich are just fine and forgetable.I cant really point at anything I enjoyed about amy.Omega is a bit more memorable he has a nice story wich I didnt understand on my first **** gameplay is also kind of borring its to automatic one nice thing I liked about him is the timer...well the moment the timer actualy gets **** time I had little time because i didnt understand what to do for a **** stress of killing as much as possible while trying to beat the level is really fun but sadly almost never happens because the gamma levels are WAY to easy.Knuckles is also pretty alright his gameplay isnt to easy but also not to hard. I find it lame his story is only getting master emerald **** then theres big....borring,repetetive,poorly explained and luckily **** bosses in this game are pretty meh the only boss i didnt forget after like 20 minutes was the final boss wich I really liked because you feel fast and I guess Open your heart is a good song?I personaly think its very overrated and just alright but thats just my taste the whole vibe just isnt for me.Overall Sonic adventure 1 is a good game for its time and decent when looking at it with modern standards but some stuff impacted my experience with this game quite alot.I really love how you choose a story and play through it with only one character and really dont understand why they changed that in SA2.Because of this the pacing doesnt always get destroyed by the gamequality always **** I want to play through sonics story I only want to play with sonic imagine you would have to play a big level after every single sonic level that would completely destroy the pacing and fun(take notes **** really nice to see the same story from the perspective of other characters and it creates a very complete picture of the **** whats not so nice are the open zones they do add alot to the worldbuilding but theyre so lame and theres nothing to do in them often youre guideed to your next level very poorly wich is very **** be fair there is this glowing ball wich tells you where to go most of the time but you can miss it on your first playthrough and even if you know about it it still often isnt very **** time it litteraly just says have looked all around the city? And that isnt the only time that **** that jungle at the end of the game you litteraly get 0 clues where to go then there are these temple moments where theres also no guide. This really annoyed me on my first playthrough. »
« I liked it when hit sonic character Big the Cat said froggy and fished all everywhere :) »
