Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

Game Chronicles 87/100

« This game rocks from the opening tutorial to the final credits. Visually, it’s more stunning than nearly anything that released last year and the spooky sounds and kickin’ soundtrack are second to none. »

IncGamers 65/100

« While there’s something to be said for giving value for money, I’d have preferred a more tightly paced story; a good handful of levels are just making up the numbers, and Shade would have been so much better for a bit of trim. »

Next Level Gaming 60/100

« This game is so boring and annoying that I can’t force myself to play it anymore. Now I’m not going to say this is one of the worst games of the year (I think "Lords of the Realm III" deserves that honor), but as soon as this review is over I’m not going to play it anymore. »

GameZone 56/100

« Not especially challenging, I beat up a Game Boy game a while back for using the tired "move block" puzzle as a form of play and here we are on a PC title that is doing the same. »

Gamer's Hell 55/100

« If the Graphics and sounds lived up to the gameplay the game would be better, but because of so many graphical problems and the awful camera, along with the terrible voice acting the overall enjoyment factor of the game is sub par. »

PC Format 51/100

« "Prince of Persia's" ugly second cousin. Does not get invited to royal functions. [Nov 2004] »

IGN 50/100

« Shade: Wrath of Angels, is not a good game. It's not a game that I would recommend to anyone. I would recommend Blade of Darkness or even the lackluster Rune, both of which are years old, over Shade in an instant. »

PC Gamer 48/100

« Its generic plot and presentation are so bland, the game's few inventive features are very likely to be lost on most who play it. [Holiday 2004, p.94] »

« Really a superb game I loved it so much that I completed it in 1 day in my 5th try. It is the best horror and adventure game I have ever played. I would recommend it to everyone. I have an advice "if you use cheats you will not be able to finish this game and start from the respective level(eg: Scales of maat, fields of piece etc). I used cheats once and the rest of the time I never used »

Gamer2014 8/10

« Man you gotta try this game if you like adventure thinking games has very awesome stages and different from each other i never though it would have this low score you will feel like an adventurer through historical stages fighting ...(the only thing is that the game actually has pretty the same monsters with different shape) **** THE VISUALS I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT . »
