Like a cozy medieval fantasy tale, Opaloid Kingdom tells the story of two mages.
The first one is the Azure Sorcerer that lives a simple life in Azure river town, growing herbs, foraging mushrooms, helping the villagers with the harvest and a little rain once in a while thanks to his water magic.
His calm lifestyle gets interrupted when the King summons him to the castle with a request that might put his life in danger.
The Crazy Wizard, a mage that lives in a fortress and used to serve the king as an advisor and ally is now the enemy of the whole crown, he lives in his secluded fortress where his monstrous pets keep him company, along with a whole company of dungeon gnomes which have built their own town inside and recognize the Crazy Wizard as his liege.

Chapter 3: The Enchanted Forest, released today!
Chapter 3: The Enchanted Forest. Chapter 3 introduces new content to Opaloid Kingdom, including achievements, levels, enemies, abilities, and a new storyline featuring the Azure Sorcerer. You'll be able to access it from Zone 61. After escaping the Crazy Wizard's fortress, the Azure Sorcerer discovers that his journey home will be more challenging than expected. The forest has been poisoned by the alchemical experiments of the Crazy Wizard, leaving it filled with aggressive, viscous, and poisonous creatures. The only way to help the inhabitants of the forest is to explore the ancient Emerald Temple, located in the heart of the forest, and recover the Whirpool Amulet. Changes and fixes: - New attack patterns for the Azure Sorcerer. - New zones and achievements from Zone 61 onwards. - Removed an NPC from Zone 1 - Added coin to Zone 2. - Zone 3 map has a narrower path to Zone 4. - Zone 4 balance changes. - Zone 5 layout changes. - Fixed Soldier and NPC pathing in Zone 11. - Balance changes to Zone 22. - Balance changes to Zone 26, famous for its difficulty. - Removed a coin object that had no functionality in Zone 26. - Balance changes to Zone 27. - Balance changes to zone 41, 43. - Zone 46 is now substantially easier. - Zone 49 has fewer soldiers. - Lava boulder's damage is now 2. New Extra HP Item, UI changes and zone balance.
New - Extra HP Item - added! The Sorcerer and the Wizard can now get extra permanent hit points, the special item is available in certain zones, starting in zone 19 and 39. Current health and maximum health points are now permanently displayed on the screen. Crazy Wizard's starting HP is now 4, including the ship in zone 34. Mushroom item effect now lasts 20 seconds but its effects carry on to other zones if the timer hasn't expired. Mushroom item added to zone 6 and 59. Giant rat removed from zone 27. Balance changes to zone 15. Removed randomness from lava boulder spawners from zone 40 and upwards to improve speedrunning. Balance changes, mushroom visual fx and new achievement.
New coin achievement in zone 22. Mushroom items now cause a temporal visual effect. Mushrooms added in chapter two in zones 42, 49, 52, 57 Mushrooms now affect the crazy wizard in Chapter 2 increasing his attack pattern. Speed potions were added to zone 22 and 27. Shooting cooldown is now shorter, which makes it easier to defeat some enemies if you like pressing buttons really fast!
