"As you walk beside the lake on a cloudy night, a distant thunderclap demands your attention. A curious, organic artifact falls from the starry sky and inexplicably, without asking permission, transports you across the universe. You’ve been abducted from your cozy existence and added into an alien landscape with a stereotypical Kansas farmhouse, a white picket fence, and a rather bizarre little ghost town - well… almost ghost town. Adding to the oddity, you discover a strangely kluged kiosk that reassuringly welcomes you to Hunrath."

Opinion plutôt négative sur Obduction, comme beaucoup d'autres avis de joueurs, un premier monde bien léché avec des enigmes assez tordues. Et puis les mondes restants très moyens avec un labyrinthe dans l'un d'entre eux ou se n'est pas l'énigme qui...
Voici mon avis tout à fait subjectif sur Obduction, Premièrement, j'ai adoré! (et donc pourquoi je fait cette évaluation pour soutenir le travail des développeurs). C'est un succèsseur de Myst sans complexes, donc clairement un jeu qui ne plaira pas...

Myst's re-releases, sequels, and successors are going cheap in the next Humble Bundle
Three decades have gone by since the original Myst graced the world, providing endless online debates about whether it's smart or just pretentious. Magical or plain bad. Some indie developers chose the latter with a Myst FPS remix that spoofed the senior adventure game. The RPS readership seemed split on the subject when we asked "Have You Played Myst?" years ago. But Humble Games leans toward the former as it’s choosing to celebrate the classic's whopping 30th birthday with a returning charity bundle, available now until August 3rd. The Humble Myst & More Bundle packages the titular point-and-clicker, alongside several other sequels, spiritual successors, and odd offshoots from developer Cyan Worlds. You can pay anything over £7.80/$10 for the 11-game bundle, or you can pay at least £15.60/$20 to also grab the Myst remake from 2021. Cyan Worlds loves a good re-release, and this latest bundle is a reminder of how many Mysts have Mysted over the years. There’s Myst: Masterpiece Edition which remasters the music and imagery, and is otherwise as close to the original as you can get. Then there’s realMyst: Masterpiece Edition which added changing weather, day-night cycles, free roam movement, and a bonus epilogue. And finally, there’s the most recent pretty remake that’s also compatible with VR. Read more

« I made an account just to write this - Obduction is awful, obtuse, frustrating, and not worth your time or money. Whoever made the cart puzzle should never design a puzzle game ever again. The game has not redeeming quality that you could find in any other puzzle game today. The visuals are just so-so, plenty of backtracking so you'll get bored fast. Character dialogues are one sided even when it's not prerecorded voice. Gameplay is great if you like frustrating, obtuse experience and getting bragging rights to say "I fnished Obduction and it's a masterpiece". Please, play Myst (the old one, the 3d one, whatever is better than this), Riven, Outcry perhaps. Anything but this awful excuse of a puzzle game. »
« Great looking and athmosperic world with some nice mystery. But bad story, the puzzles are kind of lame and there is a lot of boring backtracking. Often the basics for solving the puzzle are not made clear to the player. Also often it's unclear how to progress, sometimes "random" things just change in the gameworld that the player wouldn't even know, but needs to find to progress. »

« Постараюсь оставить справедливый отзыв, возможно кому-то пригодится. Я поставил игре 7, в моем понимании эта оценка значит что игра неплоха, но к сожалению ничем не запомнится и если пройти мимо нее жалеть не будете. Поначалу красивый и затягивающий мир вскоре понемногу начал вызывать напряжение и усталось которые к концу игры значительно усилились. Проблема в том что разработчики не снабдили головоломки самодостаточной логикой. Как должна выглядеть идеальная головоломка (привет Портал) - игрок видит перед собой цель, игроку объясняют или подсказывают как что работает и он с помощью имеющихся инструментов прокладывает себе дорогу к цели. В это игре эта цепочка сломана, цели которые нам часто ставят не дает ни малейшего намека на то куда идти и что делать. И большинство загадок скатывается к тому что нужно идти и взаимодействовать со всем что видишь пока наконец-то ты не найдешь то что нужно. Как правильно писали на другой форуме - задачки и принцип их работы очень часто становится очевиден и понятен только после того как тебе случайно удалось их решить. С эти можно было бы жить так как интересные головоломки все еще встречаются, но здесь порадовал новый аспект - переход между мирами занимает просто до хренища времени и мои нервы были просто окончательно убиты в ходе лабиринта где чтобы совершить одно действие нужно было терять 3 минуты времени и одна головоломка которую можно было бы пройти за 10 минут заняла 1 час просто потому что разработчики не ценят мое время. Имейте это в виду »
« I found it way too tedious to walk around for minutes at a time to get from one piece of the puzzle to the next. If there was a way to speed up the travel I would have kept playing. Also, unless you have a really good memory you're going to really struggle with this game. There is so much you have to remember, such as different paths you did or didn't explore, which path leads to where and what were at those locations. There is no built in navigational map to track where you have and haven't gone. That may be fine if it would at least allow you some way to draw your own map to keep track of stuff. The only thing it allows is taking pictures, which is nowhere near adequate. I'm rating it as high as I am because I enjoy that the game is based around discovery and exploration in an alien world. »
