« A fantastic addition for the 3DS. The graphics are crisp and utilize 3D well, while the music fits each game and board without becoming monotonous. Every mode and board is easy to pick up and play with anyone, anytime.. Island Tour is a perfect balance of old and new that keeps the game fresh with playing styles to meet every need. »
« Simplistic and easy to pick up, the pure fun that results make this a great game for people of all ages and gamers of all skill levels. »
« Mario Party: Island Tour has lost a little of the magic that seemed to be in the first releases of the game way back on the Nintendo 64. »
« This is a solid rendition of the well known formula, catered to the needs of the handheld generation, but without an online mode the fun is limited. »
« It's not a perfect party by any means, but some good design considerations, better-than-average variety, and always-enjoyable Mario thematics put Mario Party: Island Tour a few notches above your average video game bash-in-a-box. »
« You might add a little to the score if you’ve got friends who are frequently ready and willing to play, but Mario Party: Island Tour ultimately feels par for the series’ course. It’s still good, but is mostly hurt by a higher barrier to entry for multiplayer, a lack of continuing the push towards truly "Mario" feeling mini-games, and the series’ ever-present dominance of luck over skill. »
« It was nice to have a brief but satisfying match while out and about. »
« The simplified objective makes for a more fun experience, and I wish they made more Mario Party games on the console in this style. That being said, it still is just Mario Party for a handheld console. Don't expect anything more than that. »

« I love this game because i played this game in my childhood and its my favorite game of all time! The maps, the minigames and the Bowser tower is so beautyful️11/10️️️️ »
« un gioco niente male che per quanto non offra chissà quale intrattenimento lo offre comunque con una longevità molto vasta. 7.4/!0 »
« This game was such a letdown for me, I was expecting more from this game like more traditional board rules and more memorable minigames among other things instead of what we ended up with. At least this game is fun in places and is also playable compared to certain other Mario games (cough Mario Pinball Land). »
« By far, one of the most generic Mario Party games I’ve ever played in my life. All the 3DS Mario Parties are so forgettable and drab that I have a hard time recollecting any sort of memory of playing this. Thankfully, there’s more than 1 board compared to The Top 100, but these boards for some reason all have different rules. What’s the point of that? Why not have a bunch of boards that can all utilize these different play styles. Since you still move around in a linear style, there’s still no strategy on the board, so it makes the whole game very slow and monotonous. On one board, the boss is literally just rolling a dice to punch a Whomp until its health meter is gone. Underwhelming is the best definition for Island Tour. »
« I love this Game. Here they tried something new and it makes so much fun and the best are the Minigames. In my Opinion there is Not a Single minigame which is Bad and the Boards are all unique. I would recommend this Game. »
« my sigmas mp island tour slander gota go so is a rhyme to show this is a absolulety goated game you can't put the blame on the crane just because it's not the same you can't go and say it's lame now the ohio mario sigma skibiti toads have declared that mpislandtour is goated same with mp starush not top 100 though that game is actual dodo ma sigmas »
« the boards are all unique, they all have different gimmicks, the minigames are interesting, plus this game looks not too bad for a 3DS, i fell like the reason people hate this game is cuz of nostalgia »
« If you don't have friends to play with, don't bother getting this game. It's very slow and can be pretty boring if you're just playing against CPUs. »
