Fire Emblem Awakening
Fire Emblem Awakening

« Tactical turn-based combat is something that some won't be able to get past no matter what. As long as that isn't you, Awakening is arguably the best game you can get on the 3DS, sure to be one of the best this year, and a must-play from just about every conceivable angle. »
« A game worth buying a 3DS for. »
« From a gameplay experience this feels like a greatly refined version of the last few titles, with a boost in presentation to push the franchise even further. 3DS owners will be doing themselves a favor by picking this up. »
« Strategy role-playing at its finest, Fire Emblem: Awakening marries sophistication and character development in a way rarely found in the genre. »
« Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have re-awakened the Fire Emblem series in top form, merging its story and tactical combat as a masterful accomplishment for strategy RPGs. »
« Imagine if any other big franchise took absolutely all the best elements from its previous instalments, bundled them together, and - as if that wasn't enough - threw plenty of even more excellent ideas into the mix for good measure! Well, if your mind already set itself to work on finding a single example of this in recent memory, look no further...Fire Emblem: Awakening - the prime example of this! »
« This is a special game. The kind that makes you stop and think for a long time about whether it's ever been done better. »
« Intelligent Systems has produced some fine games for Nintendo over the years; Awakening can proudly sit next to fellow strategy gem Advance Wars as the studio’s best work to date. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Really good game with good replayability for a fire emblem, the story is quite good, but the best thing about this game is probably the characters, they are almost all amazing and interract very well with each other, the gameplay is very good even if it can be broken when you are a veteran it is for me one of the most enjoyable fire emblem game to play. The only flaws i can see are the part 2 of the story, the fact that death doesnt implies anything story wise or socialy with other char (wich has never been the case in FE anyway so its not a real problem). The flaws are very little and the game is still really good. »
« Fire Emblem Awakening doesn't aim to revolutionize the genre, nor do I think it tries to. What it does is introduce certain new, quite interesting mechanics that give the series a breath of fresh air. And to me, that is what truly **** it more accessible? Yes. And that is precisely where part of its greatness lies. It is no easy feat to find the balance between accessibility and challenge in a franchise with so many years under its belt—one that has always been known for offering fairly tough **** doesn't have the best level design, nor the best art style. Yet, I would recommend it without hesitation to both veterans of the saga and those looking to dive in for the first time. Because, despite its shortcomings, what it does well, it does exceptionally well. »
« Engaging gameplay, immersive world, and endless fun! A must-play for all gamers seeking excitement and adventure. »
« A fantastic entry into my favorite JRPG series of all time. Fire Emblem Awakening saved the series & for that and many other reasons, it will always have a place in my heart. Is the story mind-blowing? No. Is the gameplay the best in the series? Is it my favorite entry? No. But... Awakening blends all the things that make Fire Emblem special together. There are great characters, incredible music, fun gameplay, good new additions, and a lot of genuinely cool fanservice. I love this game! »
« To this day this is still one of my favorite games of all time. Fire Emblem Awakening is such a masterpiece when it comes to the gameplay, presentation, soundtrack, story and characters. One of the things that I love about this game for example, is how Robin, which is the avatar of the player in the game, can work perfectly as an avatar and just as a character of their own if you leave their default name, I think it really is a really smartly made character for that reason. »
