Endless Legend
Endless Legend

« Endless Legend is not a fast game, but if you prefer your games deep and thoughtful, then it is this game that will put your brain to task. »
« Endless Legend combines fantastic fiction with compelling strategy. Underpinning it all is a strong design philosophy that connects the tenets of the 4X genre together seamlessly, while providing a plethora of options without being overwhelming. Even during a time when we’re seeing a lot of 4X offerings, it sets itself apart, promising something different from its contemporaries. »
« Given the history of Endless Space and the many post-launch updates it got, we’re bound to see a lot of support for Endless Legend, fixing bugs and tweaking mechanics and improving on the already exciting experience. »
« Endless Legend brings a whole new view on turn-based strategies. Nations with tens of characteristics, a changing world, unique atmosphere and balanced gameplay – all these things make the game a significant milestone for the genre. »
« Welcome to the new king of fantasy turn-based 4X strategy. While not perfect, this game has achieved many of its lofty goals. A must-buy for any fan of TBS games, Endless Legends could put a dent in the sales of that other big game coming out soon. It is that good. »
« Endless Legend is a lovely game with deep strategy that's a singular pleasure to play, but can sometimes disappoint you in finer details. Know that if you're never going to play multiplayer, you're not getting the whole experience - so bring a friend. »
« It takes a classic strategy formula, but makes it feel fresh, offering a fun, addictive and almost unique experience. »
« Thankfully, smart as ever, Amplitude Studios has created another astounding story-driven game, that really has taken the best bits of RTS, RPG and 4X, drawing much from Endless Space, and spun it differently for every faction. »

« My Favorite strategy game even before civ 5. I like that u can create your own army with different set pieces! That's unique. I never saw that somewhere else. Also a lot of stuff is Happening, thats at first overwhelming and confusing but u can deactivate that to learn the basics and add after. I'm not the biggest strategy fan but this is something special! »
« The best asymmetric fantasy 4X game with endless replayability. All the issues I came across were solved by ELCP (Endless Legend Community Patch). There is enough here for hundreds of hours. »
« Amazing art, new approach to battle system, great lore, great implementation of single player (questing) and multiplier. This game has so much love and work in it, it is simply amazing, I am blown away. Sadly horrible and very not-game fitting DLCs. »
« High quality 4x that does a lot different to mixed effect. The region system and citty development systems were excellent, to the point that Civ adopted the latter eventually. Factions are unique and have contained narratives that can get fairly involved, and they each play and expand differently. Diplomacy is a bit limited and turn-based battles quickly grow grating. »
« Without mods 5/10, with mods 8/10. Corrects stuff I didnt like in civilization. I hate pseudo-historic games so fantasy setting was very welcome. »
« Beautiful game with lots of replay value since each empire has very different characteristics. The game on harder difficulty starts off imbalanced because the AI is way overpowered, and by the end of the game, if you compound the right tech and buildings, you become way stronger than the AI no matter the difficulty setting. Still, this is one of the better 4X games I've ever played. »
« Game is text-heavy, as you would expect. Yet game doesn't offer any means to increase text size until it becomes readable. That basic failure requires so low an intelligence that you would wonder why the game maker even tried to make a strategy game. Anyway, it cannot physically be played, so the intrinsic value of the software is simply zero. »
