Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« It plays like a dream, blurring the lines between both genres that it covers much more than any other game. And it looks the part too, as it is easily the best looking handheld game you'll see to date, along with God of War. »
« It's so hard not to like Crisis Core because it does so many things right. [Apr 2008, p.76] »
« What makes Crisis Core so great isn't just one thing, it is many things. The presentation is the best I have seen on the PSP; the gameplay is simple and addictive with a great twist on the traditional JRPG, and the story is emotional and fulfilling. »
« Just like saying you wouldn't date Cindy Crawford because of her mole, refusing to play Crisis Core based on these small issues amounts to simply being overly nitpicky. »
« It doesn't matter who you are, if you own a PSP, you owe it to yourself to pick up this title. And if you don't own one, yes, Crisis Core and a few others will certainly make it worthwhile. »
« With an incredible plot and accessible gameplay this is an instant classic. Brilliant. [June 2008, p.66] »
« Not only is Crisis Core one of the best looking PSP games on the market today, but it also marks the best spin-off Final Fantasy title that has come out of Square's big Final Fantasy VII Compilation effort, easily blowing away such dredge as "Dirge of Cerberus." »
« Crisis Core is a full, complete, dignified game. [Apr 2008, p.65] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Loved this game. It made me understand a lot better the story of FF VII on the PSX. Most of the part were Cloud starts to jumble in his mind, made no sense to me, until I played this game. I really enjoyed it. »
« Super grindy but boy this game make feels it in my feelings. One of those games you finish and have a hole in your hurt for some time hoping for something could fill it but you know nothing can. »
« My favourite game on the PSP. I actually played this before playing FFVII. I loved the combat in this. »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« La forma en la que plantea todo el universo de final fantasy VII de forma poética es hermoso »
« The score is fantastic. Brilliant voice acting, stellar CG cutscenes (Sephiroth vs Angeal vs Genesis is timeless) and combat is fun to tinker with in regards to materia fusion. Zack is the most charming protagonist you can get with how damn likeable he is. Only game to make me bawl. »
« One of my all time favorite games, it's a must have for PSP and I had a great time playing it. It's one of few games that actually had profound effect on me personally and gave me direction/role models/values. It has outstanding story cutscenes and characters like e.g. Cissnei, Sephiroth, Zack, Angeal, Genesis, Aerith. The summons and limit breaks are just insanely well made and I watched them in admiration hundreds of times. The combat system seemed simplistic at first, but it has depth with Materia Fusion and stats like HP, MP, AP, SP, ATK, VIT, MAG, SPR, LCK. But it's difficult to get the Genji Shield, when you don't know how. The Crisis Core Reunion remake is comparatively absolute garbage from what I've seen (playthrough and cutscenes), unfortunately better graphics are not always better at conveying or creating emotions by facial expressions and gesturing, it ruins all of my favorite characters, I don't find them inspiring/admirable/impressive any more instead I don't feel anything. »
« Biased since it was my first FF and JRPG. Good story, though the gameplay itself would be seen as problematic in many ways. »
