Chick Game
Description (IGDB)
Chick Game is a boomer shooter, survival game where you care for the flock, get upgrades and craft defenses during the day to defend the coop from waves of predators as a powerful, shotgun-wielding rooster at night. Survive all 7 nights in Normal mode or see how long you can survive in Chaos mode.

Description Steam (Français)

As Jeremy the Rooster, you are the last line of defense between your precious flock and the endless hordes of hungry predators. Also, you have a shotgun.
Chick Game is a boomer shooter survival mashup where mornings are for tending the flock, building defenses, and gathering upgrades — and nights are for turning the countryside into a feather-filled warzone.
Can you survive? Or will your coop become an all-you-can-eat buffet?
Shotgun-Wielding Rooster Mayhem
You’re a rooster with a gun.

Daytime: Upgrade and Prepare
Get stronger, faster, and hit harder by caring for the flock during the day. Reinforce the coop, build junk piles to slow incoming predators, or taunt them with scarecrows.
Nighttime: Make your Stand
Waves of predators swarm the coop. Raccoons, foxes, bears, and whatever else thinks chicken nuggets are on the menu.
Two Ways to Play
Normal Mode: Survive 7 nights with unique predators each night. Simple. Not easy.
Chaos Mode: Each night gets harder as you face a growing force of random enemies. How long will you survive?

Chick Game Demo 📅 Date: September 3rd, 2025🔖 Build: Demo v1.1 🆕 New Features & ImprovementsAdded dev toggle for demo/final buildsThis just lets me work in a single version of the game Chicken JockeyTweaked a lot of the enemy navigation so their attacks are less frustrating and cheesy 🐞 Bug FixesAdjusted "out of bounds" zonePlayers could hop the fence and keep enemies locked inside with perma aggro on them Zone now begins right at fenceChanged enemies to drop player aggro if they're up in the airPlayers could hide in the tree and the enemies would stare up at them forever instead of swapping to the coopFixed enemies getting stuck when fleeing before dawnDisabled their colliders while they flee so they can freely slip out and off into the distance before dawn arrivesAdjusted enemy navmesh variablesAdjusted enemy coop position targetAdjusted enemy attack range on coopChanged fence height and chicken AI to prevent them from getting stuck outside at duskIf the player pushed a chicken out of the fence or they otherwise escaped, they couldn't get back in at duskRaised the fence and disabled their hitboxes at dusk so they can run back to the coopBlocked unintended entriesPlayers could get stuck in some areas and/or cause the enemy pathfinding to go nutsFixed the formula for number of chickens to spawn in the flock each dawnAt 11 HP no chickens would spawn, for exampleNow it should always be 10% of the coop HP, rounded up (ex: 10% of 77 HP = 7.7 --> rounds up to 8 chickens)Adjusted player physics and enemy hitboxes to prevent the player from getting stuck inside of them⚠️ Known IssuesEnemies can still get hung up on the back side of the coop for some reasonPretty sure this is related to the deprecated Unity 6 support of the original navmesh tools - I'll have to work on completely rebuilding the navmesh system for enemies and the flock in order to fix thisFoxes and Wolves have some trouble locking into attack mode on the player if some of their buddies start going after the coopLikely need to completely overhaul their AIEnemy damage and attack cooldown is based on night and not enemy typeNot a huge deal for the demo but for the full game this must be fixedEnemies can get flipped on their sides and due weird turtle-physics thingsWill be adding a reset to flip them over nice and upright in the future📢 Developer Notes Hi to whoever is reading this.
