You assume the role of the Lord Commander of the Storm Guard leading the order during difficult times. An ancient dragon and its minions have returned, threatening the realm of men. While in your base, you must recruit, train and develop a team of heroes in their quest to restore peace. Make smart decisions during the random events you will run into and battle countless different creatures ranging from mere goblins to huge abominable creatures like wyverns, golems, ogres and worse. On the tactical combat map, put the skills you have learned to the test to defeat powerful opponents.
Your chances in battle not only depend on your tactical decisions but also on your preparation. Assemble well-rounded teams and pick from dozens of different skills to creature unique synergies between your team members that work for you and your preferred playstyle.
- Rich turn-based combat with a wide range of interesting mechanics, including numerous conditions (bleeding, burning, weakened, blind, crippled, ...), knockdowns, shouts, buffs, enchantments, and hexes.
- Interesting combat mechanics that allow flanking, tying up, disengaging, and smart combinations of skills.
- Numerous playable hero classes to pick from to add to your team with dozens of unique abilities to specialize in.
- Challenging encounters against close to 40 different creature types each with their own abilities. Ever since the Ancient Dragon returned, Orks, Giants, Undead and Mystic Creatures roam the realm of men causing death and destruction.
- Defeat intelligent monsters that collaborate, heal and buff their allies and have their own strategy on how to put your heroes to the grave.
- Use your gold wisely on the strategy layer to invest into skill development, equipment, consumables or additional heroes.
- Rest in town to recover from injuries that reduce your constitution or gain morale boosts by exceptional performance in battle.

Très bon petit jeu, un compromis entre x-com et Heroes of might & magic, certes graphiquement viellot, pas de cinématique, scénario vite fait .. mais l'aspect tactique, l'évolution des personnages, les batailles sont vraiment sympas, et bien gérées,...

Ce jeu est un défi intéressant. J'y vois des touches de Darkest Donjon au niveau des mécaniques de game play.
Tomber 3 fois d'affilée sur des monstres extrèmement dangereux pendant une mission facile (du mode facile), c'est trop. A réserver aux masochistes. En fait, si j'ai joué autant d'heures, c'est parce que je l'ai essayé une fois par an, mais cette foi...
Pour un ou deux euros pourquoi pas, mais pas en l'état. Combat sympa mais vraiment moche et faible en contenu. Le narrateur est top par contre, bien que trop répétitif.

Update #19 brings the Gnome Mage & German Localization
2018-05-08 Update 19 is now out of beta and available to everbody. New Hero The latest update brings a new hero, the Gnome Mage. He is a master of earth, fire and ice spells, many of them being AoE spells that can bring the pain to clumped up enemies. German Localization Germans can now enjoy the game in their native language. Bugs & Balance Minor balance changes to adjust the difficulty have been made. Update #18 brings Bug Fixes and Balance Changes
Update #18 2017-02-23 Gameplay Change New animation for assassin's shadowstep skill. Casters will now use buffs more frequently. Balance Changes Warrior's "Hamstring" cooldown reduced to 2 (down from 4), energy reduced to 3 (down from 5). Bug Fixes Warrior's "Cyclone" now does more damage at higher levels. Can no longer put the same character into Sanctuary multiple times. Fixed description of Goblin Shaman's "Weapon of Fury". Potion after-effects can no longer be canceled. Dwarf King's "Counter Blow" no longer states that it requires the attacker not having moved this turn. Fixed a bug that cause characters to be moved to the wrong position in the roster when dragging them to other places. Ninja no longer shows a standard ranged attack icon at the start of a fight. « A solid turn based tactical fantasy game experience. I very much enjoy the sense of impending doom deriving by having far too few resources available to counter the evil invasion underway. it reminds a bit of battle brothers ( a true classic ). I very much enjoy also the economic management of the resources needed to conduct the war. very much inspired by the night guard at Castle Black, if you are a GOT fan. »
