Super Smash Bros.

« A multi-player hit. Believe me people, you and your friends will spend hours on end battling it out to the very end. Whether it's 2 on 2 or if you think you're a badass 3 on 1. »
« A highly addictive and satisfying game. Super Smash Bros. is a classic game for the Nintendo 64. If you haven't played it or its successor, and there certainly aren't many of you kinds of people, what are you waiting for? Do it! »
« Fast paced and accessible to everyone. Nintendo of America were mad to consider not releasing this game in the US. Any doubts about it's quality should be cast out of your mind. It's fun, addictive and it's got a superb multi-player mode. »
« Grab three friends, then get ready for the best in multiplayer mayhem. [Jan 2004, p.189] »
« Imagine a hybrid of Mario Bros. and Street Fighter. The outcome is a refreshing multiplayer battle game that won't fix the gaping hole in the N64 fighting game lineup, but delivers a ton of fun and heavy dose of nostalgia. »
« It'll never be confused with "Street Fighter" or "Tekken," but then again it was never meant to. Nevertheless, it’s the most original fighting game on the market and possibly the best multiplayer game on any system. »
« Simple, easy to pick up, but most importantly-fun. It's not a Tekken, but it is fun and has a long life through the insanely great four player mode. And who can resist beating up Pikachu? »
« Simple, intuitive, and very easy to pick up on! If you liked the multiplayer interaction of Mario Party, are eager to see classic Nintendo characters beat each other senseless, or are starved for a fighting game, then this is the one for you! »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« It’s weird going back to this game since there’s been so much more content added since then. This was still a pretty solid game and honestly, can’t wait to play Melee next. »
« The gameplay mechanics are good, but the colors are very dull, it freezes a lot in emulators, and none of the characters look like they do in the real game. »
« The idea for this game ("What if your beloved Nintendo characters fought each other in a game?") was brilliant, it was something a lot of us wanted, but perhaps we thought only die-hard Nintendo fans would enjoy. The fact that it has become one of Nintendo's biggest franchises, while it may seem obvious right now, it would feel kinda crazy in the late 90s. This was a great introduction to this idea though. The graphics may be a bit dated, but the mechanics were fun and intuitive, and it's one of those games you can play so many times and you have a different experience each time, even if you play it with the same people (or by yourself). I'm not the biggest fan of multi-player games or modes, but this one does it well. »
« I will still give this game at 10 or 10 because of its cool jam Pat's thriller of a very first game of its time and literally saying that it will have got some stuff to it where you play the campaign and also beat the master hand who is the one and only boss in this game who puts up a really interesting fight but like I say it also still good for me it's as well for friend nights over and literally still has its good challenges as well to give you »
« Disgusting **** nonsensical **** game with the **** commercial I've ever **** seen! You're telling me that Mario, who considers Yoshi his "best friend" and considers Luigi his "brother that he cares about", he's willing to beat the **** out of them in this series?! How and why?! Aren't friends and siblings supposed to, you know, CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER?! How is beating the **** out of them (and never apologizing for it btw) friendship?! How the **** has Nintendo not broken up Mario and Yoshi's friendship and Mario and Luigi's brother ship over this?! They shouldn't be allowed to call each other "friends" after this, especially since they keep **** doing it! How come the Ice Climbers in every game after this one are allowed to be a **** tag team but Mario and Luigi aren't?! And people tell me that Mario and Luigi love each other?! No, I refuse to believe that **** after seeing this! It's even more disgusting seeing how poorly Mario treats Yoshi in this series! It's straight up animal abuse! How the **** did Nintendo approve of this?! Mario kicks Yoshi for no god damn reason in this game's commercial, has him punching Yoshi in one of this game's artworks, and never has him apologize to Yoshi after doing it, yet Nintendo still considers them friends?! How the **** is that friendship?! Last I **** checked, friends don't beat the **** out of each other for no **** reason and never apologize for doing it! I don't give a flying **** if you make the "they're just toys, not the actual characters" argument because you know damn well that only applies to this game and not the rest of the games in this series, and even if they are toys, that doesn't mean Nintendo should still allow Mario and Yoshi to call each other "friends" and let them beat the living **** out of each other! PETA should take a look at this series and sue Nintendo for allowing animal abuse to happen! This series needs to **** end! I can't handle seeing Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi beat the **** out of each other for no reason anymore! »
« It's dated for sure but still fun. Cool to go and play it to see where Smash bros all started. »
« Maybe I'm wrong, but this game ****. The characters are slow, I can't jump... Maybe it's because I played this on an Xbox controller. »
« Um começo muito bom pra franquia um jogo de luta único muito diferente dos lançados anteriormente mesmo sendo poucos personagens eles são únicos com suas próprias características bom é um dos melhores começos de franquias dos últimos tempos quase perfeito. »
