Super Mario All-Stars
Super Mario All-Stars

« Let's face it, there's probably many Wii owners who don't actually use their Wii online and probably don't even know about the Virtual Console service. For these people, this is their first chance to play the Mario games they knew and loved 20 years ago. They're still as good as we remember them... »
« This is a piece of gaming history that's not to be missed. [Jan 2011, p.84] »
« If you have a nostalgia kick for these games, then you'll enjoy seeing them again. »
« For a very low price you will be able to get four classic games that will make the older gamers very nostalgic. The old Mario games are as great as ever, even after almost 25 years. »
« But perhaps the greatest value of this pack is the packaging itself. Owning a physical copy of Super Mario All-Stars on Wii allows these games to sit proudly on your shelf, a statement to everyone who enters your home and sees it. »
« This new All-Stars offers the same content of the original and can be considered another gift for the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. The release could've been crafted much better, in a more special and exclusive way, but the three games deserves respect and attention anyway. »
« Four pieces of game history. »
« The games themselves are the real stars here, only really let down by lack of 60hz support. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« in this game you have got crammed Mario bro Super Mario 1 and Super Mario Bros 2 and Super Mario Bros 3 in one big package and can you best all three of these now that is a challenge which I took on and believe me one and three easy but middle one that's another story give it a go »
« While the Wii version is lazy since it basically just puts the SNES version on a Wii disc and isn’t even the version that has Mario World, it’s still a fantastic collection with great remakes of SMB1, Lost Levels, SMB2, and SMB3. If you want to play this game, I would recommend the version that has Mario World which you would probably have to emulate, but if you don’t mind playing the original version, play it on NSO. »
« While all-around a classic game collection, it suffers from input lag that, while not majorly impactful on gameplay, can cause some annoyance. Having previously released on SNES, it would've been great if this version included Super Mario World »
« Great games that are very fun, but the fact that this doesn't even include Super Mario World is a bad deal in my eyes, especially for a Wii game. »
« I loved the super mario all stars on Wii I played like 90s with Snes and nes »
« I've given this collection a relatively low rating for what it is, not because it's mediocre, but because there are significantly better versions of half the games contained available elsewhere. Mario 2 and 3 have been spruced up on GBA, retaining the beautiful artstyle, diverse musical instruments, and save features of All-Stars while also adding a ton of new content. However, it does contain the definitive versions of Mario 1 and Lost Levels, although these are (in my opinion) the lesser games in the collection. TLDR: still a solid way to play the first two games, but if I'm going to play Mario 2 & 3, I'm going to play the GBA versions. »

« Using this game as a whole to rate the classic super mario games, they are absolutely classics and i still have fun playing them to this day. »
