SteamWorld Heist II
SteamWorld Heist II

« SteamWorld Heist II is made with plenty of heart and effort to create an amazing adventure that never feels bad. Don’t be afraid to stop by and make your own legend. It’s worth it. »
« Thunderful has delivered a sequel that feels like an evolution of the format that made the first game so special, with a rich aesthetic, great buildcrafting and progression systems, tight combat, better exploration, and that typical SteamWorld charm creeping out of every crack too. »
« SteamWorld Heist 2 gives you plenty of customisation for your party, filled with thrilling combat, excellent presentation, and much more. »
« SteamWorld Heist II innovates on what made SteamWorld Heist 1 great, with some stumbling around its open-world design. »
« SteamWorld Heist II takes the things that worked in the original Heist and, well, gives players more of them. It’s well-considered in so many ways, making sure you’ll have a good time exploring its ideas for as long as it holds you. It ain’t exciting or revolutionary, really, but it sure is fun. »
« Supremely satisfying side-scrolling strategy resurfaces in SteamWorld Heist 2 for a sea-faring sequel that refines and expands on the original. »
« Steamworld Heist 2 is a full-on sequel to the first title. Overall, it's better in every way that matters: more weapons, more skills, more enemy types, more gameplay, and a lot of adjustments that make the game more fun to play. Only the new world map feels more like a lateral move than an actual upgrade, but it doesn't get in the way of the quality of the rest of the game. Steamworld's streak of excellent titles continues, and it makes me excited to see what the development team comes up with next. »
« What's most impressive about all of these disparate systems is how well they synergize with each other, and how they remain easily understandable and not overwhelming. Like a well-crafted Steambot, each part and gear of SteamWorld Heist 2 attaches just-so to another, with every piece of the device contributing and feeding into the function of two or three other parts. The result is a game that plays with clockwork precision from start to finish. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Nice game. Good variebility, characters, and gameplay. I think the game extended the lore and was interesting enough to beat the missions without having the feeling of repetitiveness. »
« SteamWorld Heist II – A Tactical Masterpiece That Elevates the SeriesSteamWorld Heist II is everything a sequel should be: it takes the foundation of its predecessor and improves upon it in almost every way. Combining strategic depth with the charm and creativity that the SteamWorld universe is known for, this game stands as one of the best tactical shooters on the **** core of the game is its turn-based, 2D tactical combat, and it’s as satisfying as ever. Every encounter feels dynamic and challenging, thanks to the emphasis on precision aiming and clever use of the environment. The new weapons, skills, and character abilities introduced in this sequel make for an even deeper tactical experience. Team composition and strategy become even more vital, as each character brings something different to the table. Whether you prefer explosive offense, defensive fortification, or tricky support roles, the game offers plenty of variety to suit any **** campaign is well-paced, with a wide variety of missions and environments that never feel repetitive. From tight, claustrophobic space stations to vast, sprawling cargo ships, the game’s art direction is as colorful and creative as ever. The quirky, steampunk-inspired robots bring an extra layer of charm, with witty dialogue and fun interactions that make the world come alive.Another highlight is the soundtrack. The mix of catchy, space-western tunes perfectly complements the atmosphere of the game and keeps the energy high, even during the tensest moments. Whether you’re a fan of the first game or a newcomer to the series, this is a must-play for anyone who loves strategic, turn-based action with a unique twist. »
« I don't remember the first game being this bland and boring. It could be that the first game had the outer space setting and more mystere going for it. I've been playing for a couple of hours now and the game feels like it's just dragging on and not showing me anything interesting. »
« Like first SteamWorld Heist but bigger and better. There are four main differences: 1. You are no longer piloting the spaceship. You are the captain of a submarine, and you can freely explore the whole map. 2. There are ship upgrades that impact ship parameters and crew skills and statistics. 3. There is a well-thought-out multiclass system that gives you way more options on how to progress/organize your crew. 4. There are bounty and rest mechanisms that push you to use all your crew members every "day" if you want to maximize your loot. If you liked the first SteamWorld Heist, or you like turn-based tactic games, you will love this one. Btw. Works great on Steam Deck. »
« Incredibly fun game that follows up one of my favourite games, steamworld Heist, I thought that game was already amazing but this devs did such an amazing job with the new mechanics and QoL that now it's hard to replay heist without feeling something's missing. 10/10 »
« (MY SCORE : 8.2 /10) This 2D Steampunk Tactical Game with a Turn-Based Combat System is exciting and challenging! This game is a sequel to the Steamworld Heist game. There are several Playable Characters besides Captain Leeway, that we can play as for Missions. (In progress, we can recruit crews until we have a total of 10 crews.) The crews I have are: Wesley, Daisy, Judy, Cornelius, Crowbar, Sola, Poe, Tristan, Beacon, and Chimney. Meanwhile we will also meet NPCs such as Bartenders in Bars and NPCs who are members of our Submarine such as Trophy, Dr Emmet Bunsen, Edna Bearing, Standwich, Fen & Piper Faraday, etc. In this game, Captain Leeway and his Submarine Crew must increase their reputation by carrying out missions in Angler's Reef, Backwater Bay, Frozen Fjords, East Caribbea, Shiner's Cove, Titan's Drain, Glacier Gulf, and must face several Main Bosses, namely: The Mech ( Commander Batterfaux), Tempest Morgan, and Lord Admiral Piston. Before heading to the Eye Of The North and diving into Atomic City, where they have to face the Main Boss: Keeper Custos and Imperator Primus. In the Ending game, after increasing their reputation by carrying out missions in Atomic City, and meeting Bartender Clarus at Sanctuary, Pyros and Fen & Piper Faraday, Captain Leeway and his Crew must fight The Kraken in 2 Phases at Kraken's Lair, in order to save the Trophy. »
« Usually garbage by ineffective developers. They don't know how to make the game more difficult organically so they make the enemies do things you can't do. This makes the higher difficulty levels not fun, and honestly, the developers likely couldn't figure out how to do this better. »
