Hot Games 90/100

« The way the Advance interacts with the Cube is flawless, and if you have Sonic Advance (and we recommend you pick it up), it's a nice touch, with lots of promise for future games. »

GameShark 88/100

« The graphics are flawless. Super-smooth, fast, seamless environments stretch on as far as the eye can see. While the GameCube should easily be able to do this, it's the frenetic pace that makes it most impressive. »

Games Radar 87/100

« Despite the messy structure, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is still up there with the best of them, knocking most of the competition for six. And that's what counts. [GamesMaster Magazine] »

GameBiz 87/100

« If you’ve played or owned the Dreamcast version though, there isn’t much new to do. »

TotalGames.net 85/100

« A particularly good example of why SEGA and Sonic Team are so revered within the games industry. »

Nintendo Power 84/100

« A sprawling, complicated adventure. [Mar 2002, p.132] »

GameSpy 84/100

« Blazes across your screen with incredible graphics, addictive gameplay, and deep play options. Sure, it's not flawless, but it's definitely worth playing. »

GamePro 80/100

« Aside from the camera-angle blemish, Sonic 2 for the Gamecube is still loads of fun. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

StrideOfTheWind 8/10

« It's the same great game that was released on the Dreamcast originally, but with various graphical issues that... Make the game look quite worse than it's Sega console counterpart. Still a great game, though. »

KrashTheBot 3/10

« No hub world, worse Sonic/Shadow stages, gameplay of Tails/Eggman stages are worse than in SA1, and the radar in Knuckles/Rouge stages make the game borderline unplayable. SA2 is a step down from SA1 in every aspect, and is generally a mess. »

GibleGaming 10/10

« Probably one of the best Sonic games of all time. If it were to get a remaster or a remake, I could see it becoming an even higher average rating. »

DannyRater 10/10

« Sa2 is literally amazing and epic. Good characters fun gameplay not half bad mechanics the introduction of shadow the story and dont let me start on the soundtrack. Amazing game. »

LikelyMat 10/10

« One of the best sonic games ever, it somehow aged really well, has an engaging and well done story, fun gameplay all around with loads of content outside of the main game, the soundtrack is early 2000’s peak, and all around makes for an amazing game »

rangerjennings5 0/10

« This game is so bad because of the terrible game play with tails and Eggman, Knuckles missions getting worse, sonic missions are boring or too difficult, and the only good thing is the music and art. I'd rather play adventure 1 because it has better characters besides Shadow and a more fun and chill gameplay besides the SNAKE »

PenguinPMB 0/10

« I think it's an overrated Sonic game it gets way too much attention then it actually deserves overstays it's welcome and just doesn't really hit my taste if anyone else likes it cool but I just don't really see the appeal »

gb_k 8/10
