Songbird Symphony, développé par Joysteak Studios et édité par PQube, est un jeu d'aventure musicale et plateforme indépendant sorti le 25 juillet 2019 sur PC, PlayStation 4, Mac et Nintendo Switch. Le titre met en scène Birb, un jeune oiseau orphelin également nommé Piou, qui quitte son nid pour affronter le monde extérieur et découvrir ses véritables origines. Au fil de son périple, le protagoniste explore des niveaux interconnectés au pixel art soigné, gazouille pour activer des plateformes, chante auprès des habitants de la forêt et apprend de nouvelles notes lors de batailles de rythme contre les créatures du monde. L'œuvre utilise le moteur Unity et le système de protection Steam, et son histoire principale peut être parcourue en environ cinq heures, contre sept heures pour une approche complétionniste.
La presse a salué un jeu visuellement réussi et positivement pensé pour le médium, comme l'a relevé Digitally Downloaded, tandis que NintendoWorldReport a noté une durée de vie courte mais adaptée au récit. Certains joueurs regrettent une impossibilité d'échouer et un public perçu comme très jeune, quand d'autres recommandent l'expérience aux débutants du rythme ou à ceux cherchant un moment coloré et émouvant.
