PSNStores 90/100

« Even better than Frogwares’ previous attempts at creating an accurate representation of the character and sleuthing of Sherlock Holmes, therefore elevating it to being the best videogame adaptation of the character and story thus far. »

Video Chums 85/100

« The investigations themselves are great examples of story-telling. »

Hobby Consolas 81/100

« The best game of the series of Sherlock Holmes with unexpected twists and an exciting plot. The game defines perfectly the personality of Holmes. An adventure full of exploration, puzzles and some touches of action. »

PlayStation Universe 80/100

« All the same, the fact remains that sleuthing about Victorian London has never been as entertaining as this. »

4P.de 78/100

« The episodic concept worked well already in Crimes & Punishments and serves its purpose here as well. Even with the low difficulty level spending the time with the sleuth was worthwhile. »

Vandal 77/100

« The Devil's Daughter is one of the best adventures of Sherlock so far. It's very well design, fun and enjoyable, and one of the most diverse in the series. »

Everyeye.it 77/100

« Sherlock Holmes-The Devil’s Daughter is born from below, affected by a quite limited financial investment, which can be seen through its weak technical part. Yet, it has tried to remedy to this lack by offering an excellent gaming variety, with a less linear and more compelling progress. It is a small but necessary step forward for this franchise. »

Multiplayer.it 75/100

« The Devil’s Daughter pushes deeper the boundaries of crime investigations, however it’s not supported by an appropriate main narrative context. The low quality of action sequences also creates some problems like poor interactions and overblown loading times. »

« I can see why people love and hate the game. For me it was entertaining, with great mechanics and good ideas. However it is a bit limited and gives a version of Sherlock Holmes that feels different. It has multiple cases for Sherlock Holmes and a lager overall story in the background. The puzzles and riddles are nice but not too deep with some exceptions later on. The mini games however are mixed. Interestingly you can skip those and the puzzles if you want. I see this as a blessing as I had some bad experiences with poor mini games in the past. The puzzles are always fair and mostly interesting. I praise the mechanic that you gather evidence in Sherlock Holmes mind and connect them to solve the cases. Be warned there are multiple solutions and some are wrong. The world is really nice and gives a good feeling. To be fair it is not big and you are easily reaching the boundaries of the locations. The characters are believable and work well for me. Like I said it is a different kind of Sherlock Holmes that can offend purist and I think it is a valid criticism. Overall I was entertained and would recommend the game. »

« Clumsy chases through swamps, looonng boring bowling competitions. What happened? Crimes and Punishment was so good, DD just isn't is any aspect. The tone is all over the place, character models are hideous (since when is Sherlock John Hamm?) And the mysteries are so on the nose this could be Blues Clues. As a huge Sherlock fan I can't even bring myself to finish this game. Even after multiple efforts, each attempt just end in a mix of confusion and frustration. I'm still unsure who this title was made for, it definitely wasn't for the fans. On another note, one positive is that some of the textures look nice, for whatever that's worth. One last note is the fact I've been following these Sherlock games ever since The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and this is the absolute worst Sherlock game I've ever played. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone »

« It's an easy platinum trophy. The story is a bit boring and the puzzles a bit simple. »

« Greatly enjoyed the sequel, worthy continuation of Crimes and Punishments. Can also appreciate the extra features the developers have added: more free roaming, situations which require quick reactions, as well as more versatile cases. However, it doesn't have the classic Sherlock feel as the previous game did, with possibly too much dramatisation, and Watson now being an overly appealing character with cool hipster moustache. The ending ruined it for me, though. That being said, still a great game; if you enjoyed Crimes and Punishments, I highly recommend this one to you. »

« This part of Sherlock Holmes adventures is step forward comparing with previous Crimes and Punishments part. There are much more action in the game(QTE but still action :)). There is even a stealth mechanic exists in the game. There are 4 stories in the game and one main story. Stories have more content than in previous game. Big benefit of this part are streets of London. They are very good made but not very much used. What is not good is that load screens are too long even on PS4 Pro. In any case after this game I'm looking forward for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One game. »

« I tried all Sherlock Holmes games and this is the first one that did not freeze or had bugs that would prevent you from progressing. However, this game offers a few nice puzzles but apart from that it offers a pretty average experience, sometimes even lower than average. Acting is rather poor as well as writing and the plot. Visually, it will be called "outdated" for many players. If you are a fan of a point and click games you might still be able to enjoy it. »

Rhiannon101 8/10

« Some parts of the game were difficult to understand what to do as there were no easy to see indications. Some things needed to be explained on how to use as well, because they were kind of confusing the first few times and there is no indication of what to look out for when playing at first. Those are the only reasons why I didn't give the game a 10 rating. Everything else was great! I loved the story, the fact that you can use your own detective skills and work out the mystery, and how you can get the wrong person if you don't look at everything carefully. »

Babutto 7/10

« Pros.: - Investigations. - Some characters are cool. - Gameplay is solid. - Exorcism short quest. Cons.: - Bugs. Annoying freezing, glitches. - Unclear motivation of the characters. - The ending with the very strange behavior of the characters while everything is in a very extreme situation. If not bugs I would definitely recommend it. Because of the bugs proceed with caution. »
