23 juin 2017 7½ Hoursh

Gameplay de Get Even

Gameplay de Get Even

Digitally Downloaded 100/100

« Like most movies of the thriller genre when you go and replay the game you will likely find things you missed and understand things a lot more but even if you play it only once it does a good job of explaining everything and has a very satisfying ending (regardless of which one you end up getting). »

GamePro Germany 88/100

« The story is so exciting. »

God is a Geek 85/100

« Get Even tries to do too much, but rather than getting it wrong, it succeeds on many different levels. It blends styles within the first-person genre seamlessly, tells an ambitious story without tripping over itself, manages to scare you, and connect with you emotionally. The shooting is satisfying and exhilarating thanks to some smart enemy AI, and the Cornergun is a great weapon to use. I enjoyed Get Even a great deal; it takes you to a place you weren’t prepared for, and whether you’re happy about that or not, there’s no denying that this is a unique and fantastic video game you should all play. »

PlaySense 85/100

« It's a bit simple on the gameplay side of things, but Get Even still delivers an engaging story in an expert way, with often brilliant voice-acting and beautiful graphics. Don't let this one fly under your radar! »

Impulsegamer 82/100

« Get Even is going to be a surprise hit title in my opinion. It just has that certain something to it. I do think it will be one of those sleeper hits that many will miss, but hopefully fans of the genre get behind it and spread the word. It certainly deserves it. A lot of thought has been put into the game to make it something memorable. »

Hobby Consolas 81/100

« Playing Get Even is like ongoing brain surgery to change the zones related to memory. And even with some rough edges (the graphics), the sound treatment and the script make the operation a triumphant success: an unforgettable experience. »

GameSpew 80/100

« The developers have created a very interesting world, and the brilliant atmosphere coupled with varied gameplay makes for a very worthwhile experience. Sure, some of the mechanics of Get Even could have been a little more polished or refined, and perhaps some players will be turned off by the intense surrealism employed by the game, but if you can look past that and stay for the ride, it's definitely worth it. »

Trusted Reviews 80/100

« Get Even refuses to be pigeon-holed at any point, and though some people won't be able keep up with the madness, for those that can it's an entirely unique experience. Bandai Namco may just have the most interesting game of 2017 here, and a potential huge cult hit. »

Benjipliego 9/10

« Very unique game, incredible storytelling. The gameplay is not good though. The story and characters compensate the gameplay. It is counter productive to make a shooter and penalize the player for shooting. Great level design, puzzles and music. The game is very immersive. I really love the concept of the game but it has way more potential as a film, I hope they make it someday. The opening of the game is one of the best out there, it makes you feel anxious, and if that's what they were going for, they achieves it. The game offers multiple endings, but I personally love the "Darker Path", since it reveals a lot of details about the protagonist. The controllers feel odd. I like the concept of the cornergun but man, it makes you feel super dizzy. Had to put the game down a couple of times. The AI is also very inconsistent, sometimes they can kill you in one hit across the map, other times you are in front of them and they don't notice. There's so much lore and secrets within the game, if you have played games like SuperHot or Heavy Rain, I'm sure you will love this game as much as I do. Gotta give props again to the sound designers and composers, I still have the songs in my playlist, they captured something mysterious and terrifying. »

« I have mixed feelings about this game. It is not technically brilliant, but you can perceive the story has something interesting to offer. I have not managed to enjoy it, though; maybe it is just too complex to understand it in a single playthrough, as it usually happens with this kind of plots. It was not until I read a summary in the internet that I eventually saw the big picture of the story and how all the pieces work together. The truth is that, if you are unable to understand or enjoy this game's story, you will most likely not enjoy it, because gameplay is not particularly addictive. »

Cómo no vas a querer recurrir a disparar?. »

« The story is pretty good but far from masterpiece some are trying to make it. Graphics a bit shabby and outdated. Shooting mechanics are bad but without it the game is a boring walking simulator, which comes in direct conflict with how the game is trying to make you avoid the combat. Music was very annoying at times. I liked the voice acting though. Got stuck in environmental textures about 5 times. Most frustrating, 90 percent of the time you have no idea what to do and where to go. You just “explore” with zero goal and zero direction »

« Interesting game but the sound effects are crap. It is one of those where the f**k go kind of games.Half the time I'm lost and wandering **** phone in the game is a **** get no hud or any ****'re just as confused as your character is. Two thumbs down »

Irajamma 2/10

« Dozen or so hours in, I was slogging just to finish one of the least inspired games in memory, only to get stuck in environments 3 consecutive times. This necessitated rebooting the game, only to re-engage a completely frustrating , meandering segment. Finally, it became apparent Get Even isnt worth the time or labor to finish. Save your money and patience for a more rewarding experience. »

mikethegnuguy 4/10

« What a wasted opportunity. So much potential spilled. Exciting story, but quickly gets so convoluted that you stop caring. The last third of the game I was so bored and confused I was struggling to get to the end. I'm curious about the studios next game, so much good work gets swallowed up by poor storytelling. »
