Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World
Publié le 23 mai 2012, Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World est une compilation développée par Westone et éditée par Sega, disponible sur PlayStation 3 et Xbox 360. Ce titre mêle les genres aventure, jeu de rôle, plateforme et hack 'n' slash, et propose de retrouver trois classiques de l'action-RPG intitulés Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Wonder Boy in Monster World, ainsi que Monster World IV, ce dernier étant proposé pour la première fois hors du Japon. L'expérience vise à ramener la paix à Monster World et intègre des sessions de jeu enregistrables et téléchargeables, de nouveaux succès, des modes de défi et des classements Xbox LIVE.
Concernant l'accueil critique, la presse a partagé des avis nuancés. EGM a notamment indiqué : « It may be hard for some to fully appreciate the three games that make up Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World, but for those who can, you'll find a wonderful… », tandis que ZTGD a souligné que « The Monster World collection isn't for everyone – people who like side scrolling action RPGs will enjoy Monster World IV but may be put off by the slow pace of… ».
