Sega Superstars Tennis
Sega Superstars Tennis
Play Magazine affirmait qu'« There's more than enough here to luv for Sega fans big and small » dans son numéro d'avril 2008, et MS Xbox World considérait que « SST is a decent foray into the tennis genre, but rather than rely on the basic game, throws lots of diversity into the mix with its mini games and challenges ». De leur côté, des joueurs interrogés sur Metacritic expriment des avis plus réservés, l'un déplorant qu'« It's just a very average tennis game, gameplay is decent, but the character models look weird, and the amount of content is underwhelming », tandis qu'un autre mentionnait avoir perdu le jeu et la console lors d'une partie de poker.

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« There's more than enough here to luv for Sega fans big and small. [Apr 2008, p.64] »
« SST is a decent foray into the tennis genre, but rather than rely on the basic game, throws lots of diversity into the mix with its mini games and challenges. »
« If you are looking for a mascot-based tennis game that doesn’t have “Mario” in the title - and a better variety of characters - give Sega Superstars Tennis a swing. »
« It isn't trying to be competition to the tennis sims, it's providing an alternative option that is simple, easy and fun. »
« While the minigames and Superstar moves are fun, the core tennis controls lack any semblance of depth. »
« If you’re a fan of Sega though you’ll simply love what Sumo have done with Superstars and the online tennis matches will certainly keep you coming back for more once you have lapped up the Superstars mode. »
« Those thinking the little blue guy had nothing left are sorely mistaken, as he does serve up a pretty good game of tennis. Fans of either classic Sega or Virtua Tennis will immediately feel comfortable with this title and find more than enough to satisfy them. Others may become bored with the repetitive mini-games. »
« If you are a SEGA nut like me, you will adore many aspects found in SEGA Superstars Tennis. You will also leave the experience however wanting more in both single player and online. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Do not have any complents exept i lost the game AND the console in poker Hope Seth haveing a great time with it »
« It's just a very average tennis game, gameplay is decent, but the character models look weird, and the amount of content is underwhelming. »
« This game is my childhood and it was great! Have a great fun playing this game »
« I found it quite fun when I was about ten. I would recommend this game for Sega fans and younger audiences (around the ages of 7 to 14). I still like it today, I just don’t play it anymore. It’s worth playing, and it is quite challenging! This game is an underrated gem that shouldn’t have such a low score! »
« Now I'm not a sports game fan and Tennis is no exception. But this game has some fun moments. If I was going to play a Tennis game, I would rather play one with characters I like, so that's pretty much the main reason why I have played this game. I do wish all the characters were unlocked from the start (or at least all the Sonic characters), but it's still fun. »
« "Sega Superstars Tennis" was a good game, although I do not know anything about Sega games, or their characters, only knowing Sonic, I liked the game a lot, but it was too simple and may not enchant many, but in truth I enjoyed playing it. »
