PSNStores 90/100

« This is a big step in the right direction for the franchise and I can only hope that things continue that way in the future. »

Hobby Consolas 84/100

« The blu-ray version of Resident Evil Revelations 2 includes all the episodes and the key DLC. It doesn't add too much content to the digital season pass, but if you're looking for the most complete edition, this is it. A fun and enjoyable game that is far from being the best Resident Evil, but at least it's one of the most fun among the recent entries. »

Vandal 83/100

« Capcom has gone a little bit experimental here, but what we have here, episodic or not, is a step in the right direction. We miss some puzzles, but there's some Resident Evil soul in this game. »

GameTrailers 83/100

« Resident Evil Revelations 2 strikes the perfect balance between new and old. Returning plot threads and the emphasis on ammo management will please franchise veterans while anyone can appreciate the thrill of intimate monster encounters and distressing boss battles. »

3DJuegos 80/100

« Puzzles, episodes and a lot of action. Revelations 2 doesn’t want to be the next summer blockbuster like the last iterations of the Resident Evil series, it’s a very nice zombies game. »

Slant Magazine 80/100

« Remixing the episodes into even smaller segments and then populating them with super-powered zombies is the action-packed gauntlet fans of the original Resident Evil never knew they wanted. »

Dealspwn 80/100

« A nine-hour campaign, co-op options and a deep Raid mode make this an essential buy for Resident Evil fans. »

GamingTrend 80/100

« As a survival horror game, it doesn’t add much to the genre but as a Resident Evil game, it changes up quite a bit of things to keep the series fresh and relevant, which is something it desperately needed. »

« Pros - love seeing both Claire and Barry return - the story is fun thanks to the way its told - the game plays really well, not bogged down by gutted 3DS mechanics unlike the first // Cons - the environments seem kinda bland compared to the first Revelations - the level design is extremely straightforward, missing the connected complexity of some of the previous games // Revelations 2 is a good game, just not my first choice Resident Evil game. It provides a fun story, answering some questions left from RE5 and doing a bit of a setup for RE6. The gameplay is focused way more on RE5 style action horror rather than survival horror. While I like this style of gameplay, outside of the prison and the slaughter house, the game leans far away from the cool and creepy aesthetics of the ship from the first Revelations game. Where it shines is the story. I really like all the partner dynamics in this game. Claire and Moira vs. Barry and Natalia would be a tough choice because they just work so well. The villain is also a continuation from an RE5 DLC and the post credit scene sets up one of the RE6 campaigns. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a solid entry in the RE cannon. Worth playing if you get it on sale. »

« actually really had a good time with this. while i prefer the story of revelations, the improved gameplay and graphics is just great. it's nice seeing barry and claire again, and the story here is really engaging. really surprised at how great the revelations stories are. »

antoniofpss 8/10

« The game could bring back the terror from the classics with a bit of action from RE 4 without making it a trash action like RE 6. »

RandomPS4Man 8/10

« Revelations 2 is a good RE game. The design of the zombies and monsters are pretty cool, Raid Mode is great and the episodic campaigns are fun to play, especially with a friend. The graphics, sound design and character development are good. It has one of the most intense horror atmospheres out of any mainline RE game. But there are problems, The grind in Raid Mode can feel repetitive. Another thing that's repetitive are the level designs. Boss fights can feel frustrating and unbalanced, clunky controls in tight spaces, and there's inconsistencies in the AI enemies. Overall, Revelations 2 is a good game, but not one of the greatest in the mainline franchise. »
