Project Nightmares is a first person horror survival with a procedural structure of unique scares. Connected to a machine you will be induced to sleep to be part of this nightmare and discover the terrible story of Henrietta Kedward, an horrible old woman with a dark past.
Histoire (IGDB)
A group of scientists dedicated to studying the paranormal has developed a machine that can induce a patient with psychic abilities into a dream state, linking them to a malignant or cursed object. Project Nightmares is in charge of investigating such objects, discovering the history behind them, and putting a stop to the evil they embody. In the first installment of the game, we will play through the case of Henrietta Kedward. A toy with a dark past provides us with a connection to this malicious old woman; tapping into this connection, we’ll find ourselves in a nightmare set during her lifetime, surrounded by terror and mystery.

NOTE IMPORTANTE : Project Nightmares est un jeu long et difficile, il requiert de l'attention et de la logique pour avancer. C'est un cauchemar plein de défis et de frayeurs pour les amateurs du genre de l'horreur.
Un groupe de scientifiques se consacrant à l'étude du paranormal a mis au point une machine capable d'induire un patient doté de capacités psychiques dans un état de rêve, le reliant à un objet malin ou maudit.
Le projet Nightmares est chargé d'enquêter sur ces objets, de découvrir leur histoire et de mettre un terme au mal qu'ils incarnent.
Dans le premier épisode du jeu, nous allons jouer le cas d'Henrietta Kedward. Un jouet au passé sombre nous permet d'établir un lien avec cette vieille femme malveillante ; en exploitant ce lien, nous nous retrouverons dans un cauchemar se déroulant de son vivant, entouré de terreur et de mystère.
Chaque fois que vous jouerez, Project Nightmares sera différent. Le jeu a été conçu de manière à ce que l'expérience de jeu change constamment ; au-delà de l'intrigue captivante, le joueur ne saura jamais ce qui va se passer ensuite.

Un TRÈS bon jeu d'horreur qui ne se base pas sur de la musique, tout est silencieux avec une certaine pression, les niveaux et personnages sont intéressants bien que parfois on se demande ce que l'on doit faire, de plus le jeu n'est pas ultra punitif...

« Good- Haunting atmosphere; Thrilling scares; Engaging puzzles; Simple yet eerie bite-sized horror story. Bad- A lack of polish; Bugs that forced a prior save restart; Muted and rigid voice work. Thoughts- Project Nightmares will undoubtedly test your resolve. It’s not necessarily an easy game. And, as mentioned previously, you will die many times with the expectation that you learn from your failures. However, the title isn’t overly long and doesn’t overstay its welcome. You can finish Project Nightmares in the space of 3-5 hours if you’re focused. At the culmination of the game’s narrative, you’ll have to make a choice that will ultimately affect the final outcome. Despite the story’s simplicity, this bite-sized horror experience lends itself well to the setup of a potential anthology series much like Supermassive’s The Dark Pictures Anthology series. Whether NC Studio is ready for that sort of future is anyone’s guess. But first, there’s some clean-up work that needs to be done with this console release. »
