« Pokkén Tournament DX is a thoroughly enjoyable experience that undoubtedly deserves your time. The game impressed on every level; the core fighting gameplay is superb and incredibly extensive, the customisation options are truly staggering, and the attention to detail is abundantly clear. Not entirely faultless, but very close to it, this game is the Switch's next must-buy. »
« Pokkén is also a solid choice for Switch because it perfectly suits the console's local multiplayer ethos; the game's control scheme fits perfectly on a single Joy-Con, which means you can take the fight with you anywhere you wish. Whether or not the five additional Battle Pokémon and the light dusting of additional modes and features will be enough to convince existing Pokkén fans to upgrade so soon after the Wii U version remains to be seen, but taken on its own merits this is comfortably one of the the best fighting games on the Switch right now, and offers surprising depth, stunning presentation, brilliant offline and onli ne multiplayer modes and bags of replayability. »
« With an expanded roster that only improves on an already great lineup, fantastic gameplay, and an increased range of challenges and modes, Pokkén Tournament DX is true fighting game gold. »
« Pokken Tournament Deluxe is a knockout fighting game that’s perfect for the Switch. With new characters, revamped game modes, and the ability to take the game anywhere, this is one Pokémon game you should fight for this fall. »
« Not only is it a great game to be able to sink a few rounds of practice into while commuting or during a lunch break, as an adult with a job, a big part of the problem I had with the original was getting people to actually play it couch-multiplayer style. »
« Finally, after a disappointing Wii U version, Pokkén Tournament achieves its full potential. The single player mode is still a simple sequence of matches, but there are many alternative modes and new characters to keep you busy. And if you have some friends to play with, that's just the cherry on top. »
« Pokken Tournament is a very entertaining game on the Nintendo Switch that successfully gives players an almost Tekken-light experience on this console that is more fun than controller rage. Furthermore, there’s quite a bit of depth hidden in this game and hours upon hours of replay value to keep you engaged as you fight the various Pokémon. »
« It may not be as deep and complex as some traditional fighting games. But the gameplay is solid and fun, and fans will love the Pokémon setting (the creatures and its attacks never looked so good). It has additional characters compared to the Wii U game. »

E a História... Nota final: 2 (Injogável) ou (Prefiro levar um tiro no peito) English: I love Pokémon, but playing this was one of the worst fighting game experiences I've ever had. The combat is extremely stiff, not allowing you to move freely, and the camera is fixed on the enemy Pokémon, making it impossible to move in the directions you use the directional pad. The combos are poorly made, taking away all the interest in performing them and just mashing any button on the controller, even though it's a fighting game, made for hitting and performing cool combos. The game is easy, which means you won't lose once while playing, except for Dark Mewtwo, which is designed precisely for you to lose multiple times and get angry because it's simply unfair. And the **** goodness, what did I just see? It's true that the story of the Pokémon franchise games doesn't matter much, with some exceptions for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and the Legends saga.Everything is ridiculously repetitive, you watch PowerPoint slides go by on the screen and fight, slide and fight, slide and fight, and you do this five hundred times, because that's the only thing you'll do THE ENTIRE GAME. But this was some kind of bad joke, it's simply bad, you'll just keep pressing the "Plus" button on the controller to skip everything and finish it quickly. There's no point in continuing to talk about the story, it's simply awful. And now the 100%, in case you're going to do it (I don't know why you would do this anyway). Completing all the panels, doing very specific things to get random photos of Pokémon doing some movement, titles that you also get in some panels, in addition to being "forced" to level up your Pokémon to 100 if you want the exclusive title for your main Pokémon. But, do you know how you do all this? Killing yourself, because you do everything the same way until you get things based on luck. Final score: 2 (Unplayable) or (I'd rather take a bullet in my chest) »

« It's such an interesting and fun eventful game, but forgetting what best combos you've came up with can be quite forgettable. »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« Damn good fighting game basis, adding great gameplay to a solid roster with tons of customization and decent extra modes, features. With a stronger story mode and better roster this could be one of the best fighting games and pokemon games of all time, but is still just excellent as it stands. Give me a sequel! »
« My boy Chandelure and I absolutely swept the single player mode only to get crushed by the first person I played against online, so all in all, a pretty standard fighting game experience that happens to also feature some of my favorite Pokémon. I only wish there was more personality or stakes to the game, as the “story” mode might as well not exist for how little impact it left on me. »
« Just ok, I expected a little more from this. I mean, the battle are every Pokémon fan wet dream, but aside from that, the great avatar customization and some decent graphics for a Wii U game, there isn't anything really worth it. »
