« Graphically, this game is incredible. Physical attacks cause Pokemon to actually make contact, and Special attacks damage the scenery. The Pokemon themselves are rendered incredibly well, as are the trainers. [JPN Import] »
« As mentioned very early on in the review, Pokemon Battle Revolution was developed for the Pokemon faithful in mind, and although you can try battling through this game with little experience the game definitely favors the more knowledgeable. »
« Pokemon Battle Revolution has its ups and downs, but it makes for a decent way to get more out of Diamond and Pearl. [Aug 2007, p.85] »
« The real draw here should be competing with other players over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect. Sadly, it's far too difficult to really get anything resembling a fulfilling online experience out of Pokémon Battle Revolution. »
« It only offers a few days worth of play on its own and isn't much fun at all to newcomers. The game is at its best when used as an accessory, albeit an expensive one, to Diamond/Pearl. »
« Revolution is polished graphically, and great at what it is. Unfortunately, it is nothing more than a turn-based battle game. If you're not a true Pokemon fan this really is one piece of cake easily left uneaten. »
« While Pokemon fanatics will eat this game up, many other players will grow bored within the first ten minutes. »
« With arenas full of color and 3D Pokémons, it might be of interest to anyone who likes the franchise, but it’s kind of short and doesn’t offer a lot of variety. An adventure mode might have been a good idea. [Dec 2007] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« after copying back from champions, just wow. reflecting on this game more than 10 years later, we had it so good, great animations, great battle modes, makes champions look like garbage »
« is Pokemon deserves a gold star for how great it's capabilities are of hooking up a DS and sending over your DS Pokemon to it to see them all in HD and oh wow it made it made everyone just completely battle online more and collect all »
« Great visuals and music, but the gameplay itself is mediocre. The lack of anything outside battling really hurts this game, and by the time the battles get good the game is already over. Not even the commentator from the TV series can save this one. »
« This game is not as good as Colluseum which released on the previous console. It's very unique in its own right but it's overall a very mediocre video game and unimpressive. It can be slightly fun and memorable though so overall around 6 or 7 out of ten. »
« The game is an excellent presentation of what the Nintendo Wii can do graphically. The Pokemon and trainers are large and in three dimension. The moves and actions of the Pokemon have greatly improved since the GameCube game series. The sound and music seem to be a mix of new and old. The voices are generic, except for the announcer whose voice is the same as the voice of the television show's narrator. »
« Good, but for very specific audiences. Has some battle modes you can play to win prizes for Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. I think I should mention upfront--this game is designed to be used with the fourth generation of Pokemon **** you have never played Generation 4 then try it before getting this game. »
« I will not deny that Pokemon Battle Revolution isn't the best of the Colosseum-esk games. But for what it's worth, my gosh is it fun. It's essentially the Battle Frontier for Diamond and Pearl before the Battle Frontier. You go out through PokeTopia and you challenge Colosseums in creative battle formats to become the PokeTopia Master (However, it is recommended that you have a completed Pokemon DS Game to transfer Pokemon). But what I will say is, there is definitely a lot of missed potential when it comes to this game. Although, if you love Pokemon Battles in general, Gen 4, and have a Pokemon DS Save, I think you will enjoy this title for what it is worth »
