Histoire (IGDB)
Some time after Shinnok's defeat at the hands of Cassie Cage, Raiden is seen torturing the fallen Elder God in the damaged Jinsei Chamber. The God of Thunder, now with a darker persona due to the Jinsei's corruption, announces to Shinnok that he will no longer have mercy and will destroy Earthrealm's enemies before they can attack the realm. Though Shinnok reminds him that he cannot kill an Elder God, but Raiden retorts that "There are fates worse than death" and decapitates him. Raiden resolves to deliver him to Liu Kang in the Netherrealm as a warning and before teleporting away. The Keeper of Time, Kronika, appears in the chamber, enraged at Raiden for upsetting the balance of time after the events of Mortal Kombat X. She confronts and tells Shinnok that the Arc of Time bends to her will and that "it's only a matter of time." Tired of Earthrealm’s defiance, Kronika will bring order to the universe through any means necessary.

It has a strong but slightly limited character roster (excluding DLCs) and lots of ways to customize the characters. It has excellent visuals and presentation for a PS4 fighting game. The fatalities and brutalies are brutal and iconic. The game modes like Towers of Time are fun, great and has some replay value. The tutorial modes can also be very helpful. The microtransactions are ok, not a pro nor a con. The flaws are unlocking gear, cosmetics, skins and characters can feel very grindy, which can feel frustrating and boring. It has DLC reliance, meaning some of the characters and content are locked behind paid DLC. The online matchmaking and connection quality can be sometimes inconsistent. Overall, MK11 is a great and fun fighting game for the PS4' »
« In this game the progression is ass you mostly need to grind out hours of your life to have all brutalities and skins of one single character mostly of the roster is extremely unbalanced and the online mode has a bug where lag is constant so the game is unplayable my opinion buy tekken or street fighter the whole franchise died with Mk1 »
