Monsters vs. Aliens, adaptation vidéoludique du film d'animation éponyme, est sorti le 24 mars 2009 sur PC, PlayStation 3 et Xbox 360, édité par Activision et développé par Beenox à l'aide du moteur Goliath Engine avec la protection SecuROM v7.39.0004. Classé dans le genre aventure, le titre propose de revivre des scènes du film en incarnant Ginormica, B.O.B. et The Missing Link, avec un mode coopératif permettant l'entrée et la sortie des joueurs en cours de partie. Plusieurs comédiens du long-métrage reprennent leurs rôles, à l'exception de Hugh Laurie et Kiefer Sutherland, remplacés par James Horan et Fred Tatasciore. Le jeu a obtenu un score Metacritic de 63 et une note agrégée de 67,56. Sur l'accueil critique, PGNx Media a salué une adaptation solide du film mêlant action-plates-formes et énigmes, tandis que Gaming Age l'a jugé amusant et accessible aux enfants comme aux adultes. En revanche, certains joueurs sur Metacritic l'ont vivement critiqué, évoquant l'une des pires adaptations de film jouées et un gameplay particulièrement lent.
