Sorti le 3 novembre 2009 sur PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 et Wii, LEGO Rock Band est un jeu de musique développé par Harmonix Music Systems et TT Fusion, et édité par WB Games et MTV Games. Le titre marie l'univers de Rock Band à celui des LEGO en permettant de former un groupe et de personnaliser ses membres en assemblant corps, torses, jambes et têtes. La campagne principale propose une tournée mondiale semblable aux précédents opus, mais intègre également des niveaux spéciaux où le joueur doit accomplir des tâches extravagantes comme combattre un poulpe ou détruire un immeuble au cours d'un concert. La progression via les chansons rapporte des « Studs », la monnaie du jeu, utilisables pour décorer le Rock Den, recruter du personnel ou acheter des vêtements et instruments. Une partie de la presse a apprécié la touche LEGO qui distingue le jeu, MS Xbox World saluant cet aspect et la sélection musicale, tandis que TeamXbox y voit une expérience familiale plaisante sans être édulcorée. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic considèrent l'opus comme une bonne entrée dans la série, tout en regrettant une playlist orientée plus jeune et perçue comme la plus faible du franchise. L'aventure principale est estimée à environ huit heures et demie, contre quarante-deux heures pour une exploration complète, et le score agrégé s'élève à 73,24.

« Игра хороша, хоть и не без недостатков. Сперва хочу сказать, что это моя первая игра из серии Rock Band, до этого доводилось играть только в Guitar Hero. Итак, первый и самый большой косяк - это графика. А конкретней, бэк анимации просто ужасны, не знаю как там на других платформах, но на Xbox 360 всё очень плохо. Благо катсцены не лагают, но об этом чуть позже. Второй и финальный недочёт - это песни. И дело даже не в самих песнях (чего стоит только Queen), а в их количестве. Ну их прям мизерное количество. Теперь о плюсах: 1)Возможно никто не ожидал, но сюжет восхитителен, пусть и до простоты детский. 2)Анимации. Как я уже писал, никогда не играл в RB, но если такие красивые анимации присутствуют и в других частях этой франшизы, то я с гордостью снимаю свою шляпу перед Harmonix. Во время игры я просто получаю эстетическое удовольствие смотря на тачборд. 3)Story mod. Чуть выше было написано пару слов о сюжете, но этот пункт я бы хотел написать отдельно. В сюжетном режиме кроме того, что есть классный сюжет, так есть и создание своего персонажа, с которым можно отправится в тур, есть классная костомизация (не только персонажа,но и своего минивэна), можно получить своего собственного менеджера, и только первые полтора часа геймплея. Вообщем, чтобы получить максимальное удовольствие от прохождения, зовите друзей! Как итог, мы получили отличную игру, с техническими проблемами, но которые затмевает отличная история. Одна из лучших лего игр! 9/10 »
« It could use some better songs, but for a Lego game it is pretty good. This game is really cheap and is a must have. I only have the Drum Set and Mic though. :( Oh well. I will get both guitars sometime. »
