Injustice: Gods Among Us
Injustice: Gods Among Us

« One of the best all-around fighting experiences you’re likely to find—and fans of both DC Comics and Mortal Kombat-style fighters will be blown away by this high-quality brawler of epic proportions. »
« Injustice: Gods Among Us can easily be called one of the best, if not THE BEST, fighting games of 2013. With its addictive story mode and fantastic fighting engine, it is an experience to behold. Fans of Mortal Kombat or any fighting game in general will find something to like here. »
« Injustice: Gods Among Us is as complete a fighting game as I’ve played. It’s set up to cater to both beginner and experienced players and has a story mode that manages to almost completely hide its contrivances. Top-notch animation, voice acting and multiplayer options round out the offering. It’s also a great homage to DC superheroes that comic book fans are sure to love. »
« Injustice is fast, destructive, and extremely accessible without sacrificing its hardcore edge, and its slick visuals and nonstop craziness put it in a class by itself. This fighter is DC and NetherRealm at their finest, and while certain aspects (like Super Moves) wear thin, there’s enough great content here to keep fans busy for months. »
« NetherRealm clearly had a blast creating Injustice. The team’s appreciation of the DC universe blends nicely with their well-worn Mortal Kombat formula to create an experience that is a success on both fighting and comic book levels. »
« Incredible storytelling and fantastically executed single-player modes. Even its online offerings, which may not be NetherRealm's best work, are worlds better than the majority of other solutions being floated by Capcom and Namco Bandai. »
« With fantastic presentation, impressive graphics and voice acting, a surprisingly interesting story, a great control scheme, and a huge amount of content, I highly recommend Injustice: Gods Among Us to not only comic book fans and fighting game veterans, but to anyone looking for a game that’s extremely entertaining to play. »
« Injustice: Gods Among Us is a great fighting game that just so happens to be a love letter to fans of DC Comics. Those who enjoy at least one of the two will no doubt get their money’s worth with NetherRealm’s latest. »

« I really like the Elseworlds twist on the story-driven plot of the campaign. The controls, mechanics, and UI are great! The ultimate abilities are unique and rewarding but a bit repetitive. All in all a great fighting game as a couch coop fighter or a single player campaign story. »
« Injustice feels like a worse version of MK (2011). While it offers a compelling campaign and some fun casual matches, it feels like a downgrade when compared to how good Netherrealm's previous effort was. There's just not a lot of depth in its gameplay and it can become boring after a couple sessions. The visual aspects are not for me, not because of it being outdated, but rather because the grittiness makes the character design and artstyle in general kinda ugly. »

« NeathRealm's "Injustice: Gods Among Us" is not on the level of their "Mortal Kombat" reboot from 2011. But it's a huge improvement over their "Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe". It has a better story, improved graphics, a bigger lineup and evolved fighting mechanics. There's also more content to play around with. Fans of both DC and MK will have a great time with it. Overall, I would rate this with an 8 out of 10. »
« Story Mode Pros: • Not deep but entertaining story that doesn't lose momentum. • Fun to try some of the characters. • Stage design is good, and the way that it interacts with attacks impacts feels pretty good. Cons: • You can play only with half of the original roster. • Character design is hit and miss, misses most of the time. • Character fases are passable at best. »
« "Injustice" isn't the deepest fighter. It's not on the level of 2011's "Mortal Kombat. But it's much better than "Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe". Fans of both franchises will be pleased with the story and fighting mechanics. The lineup is terrific, the graphics are solid and there's enough content to keep players busy for months. Overall, this is an 8.1 out of 10. »
